Donald R. Routt of Campbellsville, KY, the son of Edward Thurman Routt and Alice Burba Routt, was born March 8, 1948 in Larue County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 75 years of age.
He had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He had been employed as an exterminator. He loved shooting pool, working as a mechanic, and race cars. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by three sons and one daughter: Brian Routt and Theresa Routt both of Oklahoma, Nathan Routt of Madisonville, KY, and Don Routt, Jr. of Campbellsville. Six grandchildren: Christopher Routt, Karlee Routt, Tahler Franklin, Carter Routt, Breanna Routt, and Grayson Routt, and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Edward Routt, Myrtle Edith Jenkins, and Joyce Druin.
There will be a funeral service for Donald R. Routt on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Rd. Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 2023 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to the Marion County DAV Honor Guard and may be made at the funeral home.

Arnold Thomas “Tommy” Abell of Glasgow, KY, the son of the late Arnold B Abell and Edith M. Mills Abell, was born May 23, 1950 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his residence. He was 72 years of age. He was a retired auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cars and spending time with his family. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife: Dawn R. Dorsett Abell, two sons and two daughters: Richard “Richie” Abell of Muldraugh, Kaylin Ringham and husband Luke of Indiana, Danielle McKinney and husband Joshua of Glasgow, and Jeffrey Goad and significant other Nicole of Glasgow.
Two sisters: Donna Reynolds and husband Billy, Lynda Beard and husband Moses and his mother-in-law: Cheryl Rock.
Five grandchildren: Keyton Goad, McKynlee Goad, Emily Larkin, Brittney Edwards, and Lyla Maelee Ringham, and one great-grandchild: Anna Guffy
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Edith Ann Edwards and Buford Abell.
There will be a funeral service for Arnold Thomas “Tommy” Abell on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Monday April 10, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd. Campbellsville.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to the American Cancer Society or the T. J. Sampson Hospice Service.

Willard Martin of Campbellsville, son of the late Alfonso Martin and Virginia Finn Martin, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky on September 10, 1940. He died at 1:54 P.M., Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
Willard was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a former heavy equipment owner and operator and loved spending time with his horses.
He united in marriage to Ina Clark January 11, 1958.
Besides his wife, Ina Martin of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Lisa Dial of Campbellsville and Gary Martin and wife, Jan of Alexandria, Kentucky; three grandsons: Jacob Dial, Daniel Martin and Timothy Martin; one expected great-grandchild; five sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Willard was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Gaylord Martin and Frances Gray.
