Judy Burkhead Rodgers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Rubin Burkhead and Lydia Rhynearson Burkhead, was born April 26, 1951 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:42 A.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 70
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Judy was a retired employee of Walmart in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Grover Rodgers April 5, 1973 and he preceded her in death June 16, 2010.
Judy is survived by two sons and one daughter: Jimmy Rodgers and wife, Jennifer of Campbellsville, Josh Rodgers and wife, Amy of Indianapolis, Indiana and Joy Robinson of Lexington; four step-daughters: Connie Rodgers, Patti Langston and husband, Bud, Laure Rodgers and Julie Stalder and husband, Rick; four grandchildren: Lydia Epperson, Elijah Epperson, Jude Rodgers and Molly Rodgers; five brothers and one sister: Jolly Burkhead, Jettie Burkhead, Jodie Burkhead and wife, Jean, Jeneal “Hooter” Burkhead, Jan Burkhead and wife, Eveleen and Joy Bastin and husband, Randy; one brother-in-law, Tom Underwood; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Judy was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Norman Burkhead, Johnny Burkhead, Jerry Burkhead, James Burkhead and Jane Underwood.

Mr. Ricky Joe Ford of Elk Horn, son of the late Bobby Joe and Loretta (Wethington) Ford, passed from this life on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. Born in Taylor County on October 10, 1957, he was 64 years, 3 months, and 19 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Ford was a man of many talents, most notably as a master mechanic. With the ability to do just about anything he set his mind to, he especially enjoyed rebuilding old cars. One of his many showpieces was a ’68 Torino, of which he was distinctly proud. Of his many accomplishments in life (including playing guitar for the country music band Blackhawk), his family and grandchildren were paramount. His sweet smile and genuine good nature will be dearly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife of 43 years: Carolyn (Callahan) Ford,
Two children: Ricky Joe Ford, Jr. and wife Shelly of Elk Horn, and David Ford and wife Krissie of Lebanon,
Six siblings: Bobby Dean Ford and wife Shelia, Tony Ford and wife Leshia, Branden Ford and wife Britany, Betty Brinkerhoff and husband Jim, Laura Ann Young, and Debra Saltsman and husband Larry,
Six grandchildren: Sarah, Drake, Kinzlee, Carson, Paislee, and Paiton Ford,
His stepmother: Geraldine Ford,
His mother-in-law and father-in-law: Eugene Bradley and Linda Callahan,
And a host of other family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Ford on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Billy Hoots will officiate. Burial will follow in the Callahan Cemetery on Speck Ridge Rd in Taylor County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 5, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Dylan McKay Gilbert, of Campbellsville, the son of Elzie “Eddie” Gilbert and Frankie Mechelle (Wheeler) Cox, was born July 29, 1999 in Marion County and departed this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Louisville at the Norton Children’s Hospital as the result of heart complications. He was 22 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church and was a moulder for Cox’s Interior in Campbellsville.
Dylan was kindhearted, and was always “Happy go Lucky” and had a very creative mind.
He is survived by his father: Eddie Gilbert and companion Misty Gibson and Frankie Cox and husband Roger, all of Campbellsville; a brother: Cody Tucker and fiance’ Shanna Carney of Indiana; two sisters: Mary Amber Adams and husband Jack of Tennessee and Stefany Cox of Campbellsville; his step-grandfather: Rick Taylor; nieces and nephews: Hunter and Paxton Reynolds, Carly and Maddie Adams; close friend: Zachery Grey and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Christopher Blake Gilbert; his grandparents: Junior and Maryvene Wheeler and Harvey and Elizabeth Gilbert.
The funeral service for Dylan McKay Gilbert will be Friday, February 4, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Larry Fella Wilson will be officiating.
Visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Friday until time for the service
Memorials are suggested to the Norton Children’s Hospital and can be made at the funeral home.
