Thelma Jessee Davis of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Nimmie Jessee and Mary Hagan Jessee, was born April 14, 1933 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She died at 4:41 P.M., Monday, August 8, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Thelma was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She united in marriage to W.B. “Johnnie” Davis.
She was a devoted, loving family woman and enjoyed working in her flowers.
Besides her husband, W. B. “Johnnie” Davis of Campbellsville, Thelma is survived by one son and one daughter: Lonnie Davis and wife, Charlotte of Campbellsville and Donna Bellinger and husband, Danny of Bowling Green; three grandchildren: Joseph Davis and wife, Cheryl and Amy Southern and husband, Mark of Campbellsville and Jan Brockman and husband, Tim of Bowling Green; seven great-grandchildren: Bryson Brockman and Ethan Brockman of Bowling Green, Caleb Southern and wife, Taylor, Jordyn Burkhead and husband, Brent, Kyndal Southern and Jake Cruse of Campbellsville and Tyler Cruse and wife, Savannah of Greensburg; two great-great-grandchildren: Jaylee Cruse and Lucian Cruse of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Thelma was also preceded in death by a sister, Angeline Young.

Mrs. Mary Lee Corbin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Tommy Lee and Patsy (Wright) Smothers, was born on May 7, 1956 in Lebanon. She departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her home being 66 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She had many hobbies in this life, but none were as important as her family. Her wish was to be remembered as a mother and grandmother, and she excelled at both roles.
She leaves to carry her legacy:
Four children: Lisa Appleby, Virgil Corbin and wife Tiffany, Travis Corbin and wife Karen, and Chris Corbin and wife Sharin,
Five siblings: Emily Mann and husband Kalvin, Ann Felton and husband Allen, Jack Smothers and wife Ethel, Mark Smothers and wife Cathy, and Martha Propes and husband Brent,
Thirteen grandchildren: Dakota Corbin, Renee Corbin (Cody Garrett), Sienna Corbin, Brianna Berry, Dylan Berry, Dalton Berry, Ashton Corbin, Easton Corbin, Braydon Corbin, Mariah Appleby, Michael Appleby, Landin Corbin, and Ellie Corbin,
Sixteen great-grandchildren,
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lexy Corbin, a son-in-law, Richard Appleby and a long time companion: Edward “Peewee” Dulworth
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Corbin on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Pastor Bob Cutler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallow Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 11, after 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Gregory Lewis “Greg” Scott, of Campbellsville, the son of Freda (Perkins) Wilson and the late Marvin James Scott, was born September 16, 1955 in Louisville and departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 66 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church and was a former supervisor for Ingersoll Rand in Campbellsville and later was an employee of Lowe’s.
He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army.
Greg was a member of the NRA, he enjoyed fishing and going to sales and auctions pickin’ for antiques and also loved UK basketball, NASCAR, but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother: Freda Wilson; his wife: Jill (Newcomb) Scott; his children: Clinton “Clint” Scott and wife Ginny, Casey James Scott and Jamie Scott and fiance’ Brian Sallee; a step-daughter: Shelley Sayles and husband Cortez; a brother: James Scott and wife Susan.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Tyler, Summer Levi and Claudia Scott, Paige, Aaron and Aubree Ritchie, Holden Sallee, Ava and Jada Sayles and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father: Everett Wilson and a sister: Patty Keltner.
The funeral service for Gregory Lewis “Greg” Scott will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.
Rev. Earl West will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the funeral expense fund and can be made at the funeral home.
