Mrs. Rose Marie Ferriell of Campbellsville was born in Louisville on September 13, 1949 to the late George and Ellen (Osborne) Neace. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 72 years, 5 months, and 3 days of age. She was a retired computer programmer at Wayne Supply in Louisville. Mrs. Ferriell was the cherished wife of Mr. John Michael Ferriell, who preceded her in death on October 6, 2020.
She was also preceded in death by four siblings: George Edward Neace, Jenny Donovan, Kathy Neace, and Debbie Swift.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Two children: Brecca Russell and husband Kenneth of Louisville, and Scott Ferriell of Campbellsville,
A grandson: Jonathan Ferriell of Louisville,
A brother: Larry Neace and wife Debbie of Taylorsville,
Close friends: Mike and Alice Leon, Barbara Gahafer, and Mickey Hinton, all of Louisville,
And several other family members and friends.
At the request of Mrs. Ferriell, a private graveside service will be conducted at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband.

Hershel Hall, 87, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Margaret Hall-Rustin and Ray Rustin, was born January 3rd, 1935, in Rockport, Indiana, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
He united in marriage to Shirley Ann Marriner in 1954, who preceded him in death on April 30th, 1970.
Hershel professed his faith in Christ and was of Christian faith. He served in the United States Marines from 1953-1956. His passion was harness racing, he was a self-made owner, trainer, and driver of harness horses. Hershel loved playing cards especially solitaire. He was a loving dad and grandfather.
Hershel is survived by:
Two sons: Richard Hall and his wife, Ann, of Newburg, Indiana, and Heith Hall and his wife, Connie, of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Two daughters: Doreen O’Hara and her husband, Joe, of Midland, Texas, and Debra Hall of Grand Falls, Texas.
Fifteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
Besides his parents, Hershel is preceded in death by:
One daughter: Donna Lee Taylor.
One sister: Donna Jean Jacobs.
One brother: Barney Hall.
Visitation: Thursday, February 24th, 2022, from 4pm-6pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown in Campbellsville with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold, New Jersey at a later date.

Richard A. Bloyd, 66, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas and Mary Barbara Vaughn Bloyd, was born January 26th, 1956, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, at St Joseph Hospital after a prolonged battle with diabetes and heart disease.
Richard grew up in Campbellsville, a graduate from Taylor County High School and Campbellsville College before moving to Lexington to complete his engineering degree at the University of Kentucky. Richard had a distinguished career in Lexington working for IBM, Lexmark, teaching computer science at UK and later as assistant manager at the Lexington Joseph Beth Book store before failing eyesight caused his early retirement. While being legally blind, he remained very world connected through his care giver Bonnie Shelton, electronic media, and his voice activated cell phone.
Survived by his first cousins: Dennis, Bobby, and Jay Vaughn, formerly of Hart County, Kentucky.
Along with many other family and friends.
Besides his parents, Richard is preceded in death by:
One brother: Billy Bloyd.
VISITATION: Saturday, February 26th, 2022, from 10am – 12pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

Burial to follow in the Bloyd family plot at Brookside alongside his parents Thomas and Mary Barbara Vaughn Bloyd and brother, Billy.
