Elizabeth “Diane” Murphy Bland, age 71, of Campbellsville, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born on November 29, 1953 at Rosary Hospital in Campbellsville, to the late James “Bill” Murphy and Ella Frances Cull Murphy.
Diane married Richard “Ricky” Bland of Calvary on March 11, 1972 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was a faithful member of the church until her death.
She was a loving mother to Christie Metcalf (Brad) of Bardstown and Laura Gupton (Lee) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Grandmother to Katlynn Metcalf, Morgan and Evan Gupton.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Thomas (Bernard) of Calvary, Betty Burris (Danny) of Russell Springs and one brother, Billy Murphy of Campbellsville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Morris (Jimmy). She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Diane graduated from Taylor County High School in 1971. She worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Diane graduated from Campbellsville University in 2000. She worked in the Medical Records Department of Taylor Regional Hospital for 19 years. Most importantly, Diane’s life was rich with love and devotion centered around her family.

Brian Scott Sutton, of Campbellsville, son of Jane Hoffer Sutton and the late Max Sutton, was born December 1, 1971 in Gibson City, Illinois. He died at 6:12 pm Saturday, May 10, 2025. Age 53
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
Brian had worked for Tommy Arbuckle Roofing for many years and he loved every minute of it.
To know Brian was to love him. He never met a stranger. His smile and enthusiasm were contagious to everyone around him.
He loved being around people and was a champion swimmer from grade school until he graduated high school.
He was a selfless person and he truly loved his family, friends, and neighbors.
Brian was a spotless housekeeper and a great cook. (And he loved to eat)
He is survived by one daughter, Jordan Morgan and husband Cody, of Campbellsville, two grandchildren, Jackson Morgan and Tinslee Morgan, of Campbellsville, his mother, Jane Sutton, of Campbellsville, one sister, Sara Anne Harris and husband Phillip of Campbellsville, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special friends, Leanne Sutton Underwood and Stephanie Surprise.

Brenda DeSpain of Campbellsville, was born January 31, 1963 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:22 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 62
She was a retired store clerk, having worked for several stores and gas stations.
Brenda united in marriage to Tony DeSpain July 7, 1984.
Besides her husband, Tony DeSpain of Campbellsville, Brenda is survived by one son and one step-daughter: Brandon DeSpain and wife, Brandi of Glasgow and Joanna Richards and husband, Louie of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Breanna Combs, Landon DeSpain, Dalton DeSpain, Brandy Richards and Michael Richards; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Dishman and her aunt who raised her, Pauline Dishman McGinnis.
