Richard Kenneth Dudgeon of Campbellsville, son of the late Richard Howard Dudgeon and Wanda Aileen Smith Dudgeon, was born February 20, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:25 A.M., Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
Richard loved spending his free time hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Mark Dudgeon and wife, Chris, Deanna Hunt and husband, Robbie and Ryan Dudgeon of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren: Lindsay Dudgeon, Brittany Gray and husband, Darian, Jacob Dudgeon and wife, Sheila, Craig Benningfield and wife, Bridgette, Samantha Coomer and husband, Stephen, Caitlin Abston and husband, Nick, Matthew Hunt and fiancé, Chloe, Creed Dudgeon, Lily Dudgeon and Eden Dudgeon; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lisa Squires and husband, Darryl and Renee Bland and husband, Doug of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Julia “Judy” Ann Poore, age 79, passed away on April 30, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on July 2,1945 to Jesse and Terry Poore. Judy was blessed with different work opportunities throughout her career, most notably as a real estate agent. She was a born salesperson and entrepreneur, much like her father.
Judy lived several places throughout her life but spent most of her years in Campbellsville near her family. After retirement, her later years were spent in Indiana, living near her daughter and her daughter’s family.
Judy loved kids and enjoyed being a grandmother to her two grandsons. She also enjoyed being a doting aunt and great aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed walking, gardening, collecting, and spending time with family.
Judy is survived by her son, Christopher Murrah (Tanya), of Dunnellon, Florida; her daughter, Kelly Murrah Williams (Kenny), of Greenwood, Indiana; two grandsons, Hunter Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jackson Williams of Bloomington, Indiana; her brother, Dennis Poore of Georgia, brother-in-law, Jimmie Cable of Campbellsville; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Terry Poore, siblings, Dr. Jesse Poore, Jr. and Linda Poore Cable, and sister-in-law, Deborah Poore.

Kenneth “Popaw” Dotson, 76, son of Charlie and Ruby Dotson, was born October 1, 1948 in Mahan, West Virginia and died May 1, 2025.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville for over fifty years, where he served in multiple capacities.
In 1966, he united in marriage to Ruth Powell and moved to Campbellsville shortly after.
Ken coached girl’s softball at Trace Creek for many years and was known as “Popaw” to everyone.
He was employed at Wholesale Hardwood Interiors for thirty-eight years as a cabinet maker, along with other jobs working with wood. He retired in 2024.
Ken was preceded in death by two sons: Ken Dotson, Jr. in 2011 and Michael Dotson in infancy; his parents Charlie and Ruby Dotson; one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Ruth Dotson; two sons, Steven Dotson and Tracy and John Dotson and Deny; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister and many other relatives and friends, along with his Bible Baptist Church family.
