Cecil Gilpin of Campbellsville, son of the late Guy Gilpin and Mary Rachel Barnes Gilpin, was born December 20, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:20 P.M., Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Greensburg. Age: 91
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War.
Cecil was a retired semi-truck driver and also operated a food truck at local events. Cecil enjoyed swapping and trading anything of value and was always on the go doing something. When he wasn’t working he would be at Druther’s talking with his friends.
He united in marriage to Darlene Hunt June 28, 1975.
Besides his wife, Darlene Gilpin, of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and two daughters: Gary Gilpin and wife, Christa and Barry Gilpin and wife, Stephanie of Campbellsville, Valerie Shipley and husband, Bill of Tallahassee, Florida and June Gilpin of Louisville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Suzie Roberts of Colorado and Frances Sue Bradley of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers: Bertha Lou Gilpin, Nellie Smidth, Florence Ellen Gilpin, James Gilpin, R. T. Gilpin and a sister, Eileen Gilpin, in infancy.

Marshall Wayne Ellis of Campbellsville, son of the late David Ellis and Verion McAnelly Ellis, was born February 20, 1937 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 12:51 A.M., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Marshall Wayne enjoyed a career as a timber buyer for over 50 years. He was co-owner of Superior Export Veneer.
He united in marriage to Paula Sue Shreve July 17, 1982.
Marshall Wayne adored his family and enjoyed one-on-one quality time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved the outdoors and hunting.
Besides his wife, Paula Sue Ellis, of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Marsha Benningfield and husband, Dickie and Melisa Morris and husband, Mark of Campbellsville; two step-sons: Jason Ford and wife, Shannon of Somerset and Chris Ford and wife, Lee of Bethesda, Maryland; five grandchildren: Valerie Dykes and husband, Seth, Natalie Walters and husband, Jesse and Reed Benningfield of Campbellsville, Sidney Ford of Bethesda, Maryland and Erica Gillim and husband, Andrew of Fordsville; six great-grandchildren: Colton and Landon Dykes, Drake Benningfield, Staley and Stetson Gillim and Avery Walters; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lindsey Kay Benningfield April 9, 1987 and a sister, Emogene Mason.

Mr. Jeffrey Michael Roution of Campbellsville was born in Green County on July 12, 1966. He departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home, being 54 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mike was a talented woodworker and enjoyed time spent fishing or playing cards with his family and friends.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
His mother: Partha (Kidd) Martin and husband Larry,
A daughter: Jennifer Murrell and husband Brandon,
A step-brother: Russell Martin and wife Jane of California,
Three grandchildren: Auston Murrell, Dallas Murrell, and Sarah Murrell,
And a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Roution, and a half-sister, Marilyn Landis.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Roution on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Lemmons Bend Cemetery.
