Irvin Wright

Irvin Wright of Campbellsville, son of the late Milton Irvin Wright and Lizzie Sidebottom Wright was born March 30, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:00 A.M., Friday, October 1, 2021 in Greensburg. Age: 97
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Irvin was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign.
He retired from the Kentucky Highway Department after 30 years service and was a farmer and truck driver.
Irvin enjoyed being in the woods hunting for mushrooms and ginseng and visiting and talking with family and friends. He loved his church family and grandchildren.
He united in marriage to Myrtle Edith Curry July 3, 1954. She preceded him in death December 15, 1993. He married Rita Underwood in 1994 and she preceded him in death July 31, 2017.
He is survived by one step-daughter, Terri Richerson and husband, Sam of Campbellsville, one step-son, Mike Warren and wife, Deborah of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren: Tiffany Richerson and partner, Jacob Covin, David Richerson, Kevin Richerson and partner, Lisa Kearnes, Kelly Baldwin and husband, Austin, Casey Warren and Kendall Warren; three great-grandchildren: Presley Covin, Romie Covin and Wesley Baldwin; one half- sister, Brenda Montgomery of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one half -sister and two half –brothers: Kathryn Farris, Eugene Wright and Harold Wright.

Bradley Hoosier

Bradley Hoosier of Campbellsville, son of the late Houston Hoosier and Lottie Ellis Burress Hoosier, was born March 17, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:29 P.M., Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Jesus Name Church.
Bradley was a concrete finisher where he worked for many years.
He united in marriage to Ruby Hoosier September 20, 1958 and she preceded him in death May 30, 2012.
He is survived by two grandchildren: Ashley Hoosier and husband, Chase Coffey, and John Bradley Hoosier and girlfriend, Mikayla Honadel of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Laken Hoosier and Waylon Coffey; two sisters: Zelma Lotter and Onie Abell; one sister-in-law, Frances McDonald, and one brother-in-law, William Glover; and Jammie Wheeler and Tammy Stephens whom he considered as his own children; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Bradley was preceded in death by a son, Brian Hoosier, and four brothers and three sisters: Coakley Hoosier, Willie Hoosier, Elmer Hoosier, Jackie Hoosier, Nellie Goode, Heattie McDonald, and Wilma Dean Karnes.

Anthony McMahan, 63

Anthony Ray McMahan, the son of the late Randall and Jane (Rucker) McMahan, was born October 21, 1957 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Monday, September 27, 2021 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 63 years of age.

He was a retired painter and was of the Christian faith.

Anthony was a Veteran, having served his country in the United States Navy.

He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, drawing and good food.

He united in marriage to Deborah (Rohe) McMahan, who preceded him in death on May 2, 2021.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother: Chris McMahan.

He is survived by three children: James McMahan and wife Leah of New Albany, Indiana, David McMahan of Campbellsville and Amber Doty and husband Rusty of Knifley; three brothers: Timmy McMahan and Rodney McMahan both of Campbellsville and Jeff McMahan of Louisville; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Anthony Ray McMahan will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until time for the service.

Memorials are suggested to the Funeral Expense Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
