Paul J. Davis of Campbellsville, son of the late James William “Jim Will” Davis and Nona Bell Sinclair Davis, was born May 1, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:29 A.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Paul united in marriage to Leona Wooley August 4, 1945 and she preceded him in death June 2, 2012.
He was a devout Christian and he and Leona lead a simple Christian life together and enjoyed spending time with their extended family.
Paul was a retired employee of McMahan Furniture in Campbellsville.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters: Vester Davis, Joe Davis, James Davis, Ray Davis, Ernest Davis, Jack Davis, Nora Stewart, Ruth Bailey, Virginia Dudgeon and Mary Dearth.

Alvin Gupton of Campbellsville, son of the late John Will Gupton and Mary Ivo Russell Gupton, was born May 20, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:15 P.M., Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Louisville. Age: 78
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. He loved listening to gospel music and attending church.
He united in marriage to Dawn Ellis August 27, 1966 and she preceded him in death September 2, 2010.
Alvin was a farmer and a retired security employee with Ingersoll Rand. He had also worked in transportation for several years and loved helping people in the transportation business.
He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Alvin is survived by two sons and one daughter: Todd Gupton and fiancee’ Hazel Mae Sayon of Campbellsville, Jonathan Gupton and wife, Kasey of Glasgow and Leigh Ann Bell and husband, Sam of Columbia; two grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Bell and Billy James Bell of Columbia and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ralph Gupton and Thomas Gupton.

Michael Ennis Welch of Campbellsville, the son of the late Narvel Welch and Edna Marie (Lanham) Springer, was born June 11, 1953 in Louisville and departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 67 years of age.
He was an industrial painter and was of the Catholic Faith.
Mike, as he was most commonly known, enjoyed motorcycles, painting motorcycles, murals and upholstery work.
He is survived by a son: Samuel Welch and wife Trista of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jacob Welch, Joshua Welch and Devin Jones; special friends: Steve Muerer of Louisville and Frank Livers of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Patrick Welch and his furry companion: Stanley.
All services will be PRIVATE. Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating.
