Violet Denise Bagby, 59, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Curtis Cox and Helen (Sallee) Cox was born November 17th, 1961, in Marion County and departed this life peacefully on Saturday, June 12th, 2021, at her home in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
She professed her faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. Denise love sewing, gardening, fishing, and truly had a great sense of humor. She had a loving servant heart and was a great caregiver to others in need.
Survived by her loving husband of seventeen years, Kevin Jeffries.
Survived by two sons: Jeramine Bagby and fiance’, Brandy York of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Shawn Bagby and wife Lindsey of El Paso, Texas.
One granddaughter: Braylee Tucker of El Paso, Texas.
One sister and one brother: Sandra Burkhead of Louisville, Kentucky, and Ricky Cox and his significant other Judy Simpson of Mannsville.
Along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, Denise is preceded in death by two sons: Glen Bagby and Corey Bagby, along with two brothers, Steve Cox and Curtis Cox, Jr.
VISITATION: Wednesday, June 16th, 2021, from 10am-1pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky.

He was a farmer and a retired lineman for Taylor County RECC.
Mac enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all his farm animals.
He is survived by six children: Susan Marie Cox and Danny Keith Cox and wife Angie all of Greensburg, Wanda Sue Buck and husband George, Roger Cox and wife Franki, Ricky Allen Cox and wife Sabrina and Kylar Cox all of Campbellsville; a half-sister: Cassie Brady of Lebanon; twelve grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Arthur Wayne Cox.
The funeral service for Mac Arthur Cox will be conducted Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.
Bro. Dennis Penick will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday until time for the service.

Clay Rogers of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest Rogers and Mayme Gaines Rogers, was born April 2, 1926 in the Hatcher/Meadow Creek community of Green County, Kentucky. He died at 6:11 A.M., Friday, June 11, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Millers Chapel United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and was the song leader for many years. He had read the New Testament through over one hundred times in the last ten years and was a charter member of the United Methodist Men and also a Gideon.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II serving Japan and the Phillipines.
He had served on the Taylor County Farm Bureau Board of Directors for more than fifty-two years.
Clay was a retired farmer and dairy producer and had also worked for several years at Rogers’ Foodland.
He united in marriage to Christine Blankenship April 9, 1955 and she preceded him in death October 8, 2020.
Clay is survived by one daughter, Pam Rogers of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Hollis Rogers and Margaret Phillips of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Paul Rogers, Richard Rogers, John Shelby Rogers, Fannie Belle Sapp, Louise Buck and Cleo Fryback.
