Mr. Dwight Allen Crabtree of Campbellsville peacefully entered eternity on Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Louisville at the Norton Pavilion, being 89 years 1 month, and 9 days of age. Son of the late George Edward and Ada Lee (Milby) Crabtree, he was born in Green County on March 15, 1932. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. As a young man, Mr. Crabtree served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. Later, he retired from the City of Campbellsville as a Water Treatment Plant Operator. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 82 and the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568, F&AM.
Besides his parents, Mr. Crabtree was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mrs. Dorothy (Edrington) Crabtree on April 25, 2020, and a son, Mr. Rhodom Edward “Pete” Crabtree on September 29, 2020, and his beloved dog, Dottie.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

A daughter-in-law: Nancy Crabtree of Knoxville, TN,
Seven grandchildren: Kelsey Crabtree Maynard and husband Todd, Thomas Morgan Crabtree, Taylor Michael Crabtree, Katherine McLees Orem and husband Anson, Steven Hunter McLees and wife Kelley, William Harper McLees, and Molly Elaine Crabtree,
One expectant great-grandchild: Rhodes Edward Maynard,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Crabtree on Thursday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2021 at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:00 PM. All Master Masons are requested to meet at the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles or Hosparus of Green River. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

LaQuita Hunt of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Charles Burress and Lyda Lois Blankenship Burress, was born October 24, 1933 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 3:15 P.M., Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Lebanon. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, where she was active with the Church nursery, WMU and Vacation Bible School.
LaQuita was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She loved to cook and was best known for her turkey and dressing. All the family considered her to be a great mom who had a good Christian influence on everyone she met.
She united in marriage to Carl Hunt June 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death November 29, 2002.
LaQuita is survived by three sons and one daughter: Larry Hunt and wife, JoAnne, Gary Hunt and wife, Kathy, Greg Hunt and wife, Michelle and Judy Wilson and husband, Roger of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Dana Barrett and husband, Cary of Cave City, Trena Smith and husband, Jamie, Millie Ramsey and husband, Jay and Andy Hunt of Campbellsville, Misty Roller and husband, Kenny of Bardstown, Mandy Goff and husband, Russ of Greensburg, Alex Hunt and wife, Ashley of Lexington, and Emily Hunt-Panzera and husband, David of Box Elder, South Dakota; seventeen great-grandchildren: Kendall Roller, Brooklyn Roller, Kaden Roller, Ryan Barrett, Brylen Barrett, Owen Smith, Olivia Smith, Lily Kate Smith, Layla Smith, Lillian Claire Goff, Caroline Grace Goff, Evelyn Greer Goff, Eleanor Rose Hunt, Vivian Grace Hunt, Everly Ramsey, David Gregory Panzera and Daniel James Panzera; one brother and one sister: Darrel Burress of Shepherdsville and Nancy Hunt and husband, Darrell of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Burress and a sister, Della Mae Burress, in infancy.

Franklin Allen of Campbellsville, son of the late Milton Allen and Katherine Croft, was born on January 19, 1934 in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
He departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home in Campbellsville, Kentucky surrounded by his loving family.
Franklin is survived by his beloved wife Madeline Jean Nageli Allen. They were united in marriage 68 years ago on November 22, 1953.
He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War from 1954 – 1956.
Franklin worked and retired as a foreman after 44 years with Ingersoll Rand. During his career he was given a choice of locations and he chose Campbellsville, KY as their new home. He loved tinkering, woodworking, and repairing old cars in his spare time.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Paul Allen and wife, Gail, of Campbellsville; Tom Allen and wife, Kim, of Campbellsville; and, Katherine Allen Patterson of Rochester, New York; three grandchildren: Madeline Baleno and husband, Kevin, of Rochester, NY; Jake Patterson and wife, Michele, of Rochester, NY; Ann Allen of Campbellsville, KY; one great-grandchild: Ellie Rose Baleno; and, one sister: Kay Witter of Osceola, Pennsylvania; and many other relatives and friends.
The family wants to give a heartfelt thanks to all the HOSPARUS crew who helped them care for their father. Because of the level of care that was provided by this wonderful organization and its dedicated personnel, Franklin was able to remain in his home with his family.
Franklin was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Eldon Allen and Doris Farmelo.
VISITATION: A walk -through visitation, 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
