David E. Miller of Campbellsville, son of the late Archie Miller and Cora Sullivan Miller was born September 5, 1941 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 6:12 P.M., Monday, March 8, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
David was a retired employee and Bleach House Supervisor of Fruit of the Loom.
He loved being outdoors gardening and doing yard work.
He united in marriage to Frances Price August 15, 1969.
Besides his wife, Frances Miller of Campbellsville, he is survived by one step-son, J.D. Lobb of Georgetown, one step-grandson, Eric Lobb of Neenah, Wisconsin and one step-great-grandson, Ari Rockwell Lobb, four sisters and two brothers: Doris Jean Hunt of Campbellsville, Margie Barnes and husband, Bill and Mary Chelf and husband, Floyd of Louisville and Helen Burris and husband, David of Greenwood, Indiana, Robert Miller and wife, Pat of Lebanon and Willard Miller and wife, Darlene of Florida; a sister-in-law, Eunice Followell Miller of Raywick; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
David was also preceded in death by one brother, Keith Miller.

William Thomas “Bill” Sullivan

William Thomas “Bill” Sullivan of Campbellsville, son of the late Junius Sullivan and Olie Lewis Coffey Sullivan, was born September 16, 1944 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 11:27 A.M., Monday, March 8, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 76
Bill served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer and Batesville employee. Bill was a member of the Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568 F & AM and the Classical Glass Corvette Club. He was a gun lover who enjoyed shooting, especially trap and skeet.
Bill was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Bill united in marriage to Betty Beck June 15, 1968.
Besides his wife, Betty Sullivan of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Tara Sullivan of New York City; special nieces and nephews: Sue Minton Colvin, Mary Russell Clark; a nephew, Lonnie Lemmon and wife Beverly who provided invaluable assistance during his illness, and a nephew, Gary Martin. He also had many other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by a sister: Evelyn Martin.

Donnie L. Wood, 82

Mr. Donnie L. Wood of Campbellsville was born on July 20, 1938 to the late Evan and Tressie (Childers) Wood. He departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 82 years, 7 months, and 17 days of age.

Mr. Wood was a retired mechanic and an avid NASCAR fan, and always pulled for the Ford drivers. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, camping, and hunting and fishing with his family.

Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Louise (Hughes) Wood, on November 30, 2015. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Eula Mae Nunn and Bobby Wood.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Two children: Keith Wood and wife Beth of Lawrenceburg, and Shelia Wethington and husband John B. of Campbellsville,

Two grandchildren: Mason Wethington and wife D.J. of Glasgow, and Brenna Wethington of Campbellsville,

A close friend: Diane Walters of Campbellsville,

And a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends for a walk-through visitation on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

Mr. Wood will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery following a private funeral service.
