William Junior Price of Campbellsville, the son of the late Chester Price and Mattie Lou Barnett Price, was born on April 23, 1944, in Taylor County and departed this life on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. He was 80 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. He was a former truck driver for Nally & Gibson, a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for 26 years, and Taylor Regional Hospital Environmental Services Dept. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his loving wife Doreda Shofner Price, an uncle: Ralph Barnett (Dorothy) of Mt. Washington, an aunt, Mary Lawson of Campbellsville, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Virgil and Doris Shofner, three nieces, and one nephew: Charity Mills, Tabetha Davis, Misty Roller, and Christopher Shofner. and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service for William Junior Price will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery.
Bro. Raymond Atwood and Bro. Troy Grider will be officiating.
The family has requested visitation at the funeral home on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Ralph Brock, Larry McFall, Eddie Brock, Roy McCarol, Donnie Cowan, and Thomas Grimes.

Marietta Moody Moyers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sherman Ulysses Moody and Margaret Williams Moody, was born March 8, 1930 in Bell County, Kentucky. She died at 10:15 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Marietta was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She had a servant’s heart and had spent years donating her time to the local Food Pantry.
She united in marriage to Joseph Sherman Moyers, Sr. and he preceded her in death April 22, 1973.
Marietta is survived by two sons: Kenneth “Ern” Moyers and wife, Rita of Campbellsville and Joe Moyers, Jr. and wife, Connie of Lexington; five grandchildren: Leslie Moyers, Jesse Moyers, Joey Moyers, Megan Moyers and Allen Moyers; two great-grandchildren: Michael Moyers and Wesley Goodnight;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William David Moyers September 10, 1997, two brothers and one sister: Sherman Moody, Bill Moody and Mildred Shumate.

David Lee Miller of Columbia, the son of the late Bert Lee Miller and Georgia Ann Bridgewaters Miller was born September 28, 1943, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 81 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Green County. He was a farmer and a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a former caretaker of the Bridgwater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery and just “worked all the time”, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Rochelle Brady and her husband Al of Campbellsville, one grandson, Chanson Atkinson (Chloe) and two great-grandsons: Jett and Jrue, along with one expected great-grandchild.
Also, two sisters: Jessie Shrivers, and Betty Jo Harris, both of Louisville, a host of nieces and nephews, and a special nephew: James David Miller.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifelong companion Geraldine Miller on Nov. 11, 2023, and one sister Joyce Rose Miller.
The funeral service for David Lee Miller will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 24, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bridgewater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery in the Cane Valley Community of Green County with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Rev. Michael Caldwell and Chanson Atkinson will officiate.
The family has requested visitation on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
