Billy Joe Perkins of Campbellsville, son of the late Virgle Perkins and Lucille Edwards Perkins, was born February 8, 1963 in Hardin County, Kentucky. He died Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 56
Billy Joe served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
He worked in construction and took great pride in building custom homes. He spent his life doing what he loved, living on the family farm surrounded by nature and the cattle and other animals he cared for.
Billy Joe was a loving father, brother and son and is survived by his daughter, Lydia Perkins; his sister, Sandy Faulkner of Louisville; one niece and three nephews: Isaiah Perkins of Campbellsville, Emily Faulkner of Denver, Alex Faulkner and wife, Sarah of Louisville and Jeremiah Perkins and wife, Leah of Lexington; two great-nieces and one great-nephew: Briley Perkins, Avah Perkins and Thor Perkins; his former wife and mother of his daughter, Cynthia Perkins of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
Billy Joe was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Perkins.

Peggy Jo Johnson Price of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Aubrey T. Johnson and Mary Campbell Johnson was born November 26, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:00 A.M., Sunday, December1, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of Miller’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She united in marriage to Johnny T. Price who preceded her in death in 1984.
Peggy Jo was a loving Mother and Grandmother and loved making quilts and crafts such as frayed knot dolls and stuffed animals for family and friends. She was also a talented artist who could draw and paint well. After she retired she loved traveling with Toby Tours.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Gail Underwood and husband Larry, Karen Cox and husband, Wilbur and Steve Newton and wife, Karen of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Billy Underwood and wife, Mary Lee and Wes Dowell of Lexington, Travis Dowell and wife, Jennifer, Eric Newton and wife, T.J. and Clarissa Phillips and husband, Lloyd of Campbellsville and Scott Newton of Greensburg; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters Helen Akridge of Campbellsville and Shirley Rose of Lexington; special friends Sue Settles, Burma Wheeler and Phyllis Cundiff of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Johnson and Robert F. “Bob” Johnson.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Gladys Irene Stayton, of Campbellsville, was born on July 15, 1922, to the late John Clinton Williams and Celia L Osborne Williams in Gary, West Virginia, and departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at the age of 97.
Mrs. Stayton professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Church of God. She was a homemaker and a devout wife to William.
She united in marriage to William Stayton April 3rd, 1947, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Drema Rafferty of Campbellsville; three sisters: Lois Carroll, Polly Morris and husband, Bobby and Doris Lewis all of Campbellsville; She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Debra Lynn Rafferty; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mrs. Gladys Irene Stayton will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 3rd , 2019, at Auberry – Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Evan Tedder officiating.
Visitation is requested from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles.
