born April 8, 2002 in Charlotte County, Florida. He died at 8:27 P.M., Thursday,
September 17, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age:
18
He
professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hodges Chapel United Methodist
Church in Summersville.
Brian
loved music and was a kind hearted and
grateful person. He always wanted to
make people laugh.
He
is survived by his parents, Jeff and Kim Hughes of Campbellsville; his
biological mother, Janet Ann Bradberry of Maine; four sisters: Celeste Monroe of Lexington, Brittany Gadow and husband, Luke
of El Dorado, California, Lauren Bale and husband, Zach of Summersville and
Samantha Hughes of Campbellsville and one brother, Gavin McNeil of Englewood,
Florida; paternal grandparents, Bud and Linda Monroe of Englewood, Florida and
Charlene & L. D. Durrett of Campbellsville; one aunt, Laura Barnes and
husband, Mark; one uncle, Paul Bradberry and wife, Kim; best friends: Max Davis and Zach Martin of Campbellsville;
several aunts, uncle, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
Brian
was also preceded in death by his biological father, Brian Lee Monroe; maternal
grandparents, Mary and Gordon Bradberry; two uncles: Joe Monroe and Billy Bradberry.

Mrs. Teri Ann Pruyne of Campbellsville was born in Northridge, California on July 14, 1954 to the late Douglas and Ruth (Timmons) LaBerteaux. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Louisville, being 66 years, 2 months, and 5 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Vineyard Church. A kind and loving lady with a compassionate heart, she was instrumental in the formation of Grace Resource Center, a Christian-based homeless shelter in the Antelope Valley area of California, and was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves to carry her legacy: Her husband of 48 years: Mr. Bruce Pruyne, Two children: Greg Pruyne and wife Samantha of California, and Kari Nelson and husband Neil of Maryland, One sister: Tracey Eurton and husband Robert of California, Five grandchildren: Shelby, Emily, Aubrey, Casidy, and Carley, Nieces and nephew: Brailey, Shannon, and Jessica, And a host of extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn LaBerteaux. Services will be private. L.R. Petty Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Louise Shofner of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Matt Thompson and Edna Marie Skaggs Thompson was born October 7, 1940, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:15 A.M., Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Zion Separate Baptist Church.
Louise retired from Fruit of the Loom after some forty years
She was a great wife and a loving mother who cherished her family; and she was “Granny” to all kids.
Louise united in marriage to Elbert Shofner December 3, 1955.
Besides her husband, Elbert Shofner of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters: Dixie Sprowles and Debra Sprowles and husband, Roger of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Chris Sprowles of Lexington, Jeremy Sprowles, Wendi Akin and husband, Bryan, and Josh Sprowles and fiancé, Kassie Grant of Campbellsville ; nine great-grandchildren: Chase Brockman and wife, Whitney, Chance Brockman, McKayla Sprowles, Baylee Sprowles, Jayde Sprowles and Brylee Sprowles of Campbellsville, and Christopher Sprowles, Nathaniel Sprowles, and Hudson Cooper Sprowles of Lexington; three great-great-grandchildren: Nevaeh Brockman, Bentley Brockman, and Addison Brockman; two sisters and four brothers: Wanda Lewis and husband, Buck, and Sue Sprowles and husband, Coleman, Mike Thompson, Dean Thompson and wife, Penny, and Danny Thompson and wife, Pam of Campbellsville, and David Thompson; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Louise was also preceded in death by a great-great-granddaughter, Ember Brockman, and a brother, Bobby Kenneth Thompson in infancy.
