Beverly Carolyn Miller

Beverly Carolyn Miller of Frankfort, KY, the daughter of the late Stratton Miller and June Jett Miller, was born November 15, 1939, in Jackson, KY, and departed this life on April 7, 2025, in Campbellsville. She was 85 years of age.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Christian Faith. She was retired from the Kentucky Department of Revenue. She enjoyed taking care of her houseplants, playing the piano, and she was a very active and outgoing person.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law. June Rabbeth and her husband David of Greensburg, KY, 12 grandchildren: Dolly Kleiner, Caren Synder (Kevin), Jay Jones (Jessica), Sarah Sallee, David Sallee (Nikki), Nathan Sallee, Rebekah Sallee, Benjamin Sallee, Jacob Sallee, Layla Collings, Amanda Rabbeth, and Jacob Rabbeth, and 22 great-grandchildren. Also, one brother, Stratton Miller (Charlotte) of Owensboro.

Besides her parents: she was preceded in death by one son, David Clifton Thomas, and one brother, Harry Miller.

There will be a private family visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville, with cremation to follow.

Noah M. “Mike” Smith

Noah M . “Mike” Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Noah Harvey Smith and Myrtle Vaughn Smith, was born May 12, 1946 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 2:04 A.M., Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  78

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.

Mike was a retired truck driver with USF Holland and was a former auctioneer with Hansford Auction & Realty.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking with everyone.

Mike united in marriage to Marilyn Smith August 14, 1964 and she preceded him in death November 7, 2021.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Eric Elder of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren:  Channing Tungate and Rhylen Cochran of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister:  Don Smith and wife, Carolyn, John Smith and Joyce Scott and husband, Wayne of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Mike was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tatem Ashley Smith June 11, 2020.

Philip A. Hamm

Philip A. Hamm of Campbellsville, the son of the late Herbert Hamm and Anna Mae Bibeau, was born on March 23, 1951, and departed this life on April 2, 2025, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was 74 years of age.

 

Philip was of the Catholic faith and retired from Palumbo Construction Company after 30 years in road construction. He was also the owner of a trucking business. A hardworking and dedicated man, he took pride in providing for his family and was known for his strong work ethic and kind heart.

 

Above all, Philip was a devoted husband to Janice Lee Boreman Hamm, whom he married on April 5, 1975. Their marriage was a testament to love, commitment, and partnership, and after nearly 50 years together, they are now reunited in eternity.

 

Philip cherished his family deeply and was a proud and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Hamm and Jennifer Van Mersbergen and her husband Guy, all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Rebecca Hamm, Jaylynn Van Mersbergen, Philip Van Mersbergen, and Chyanne Van Mersbergen.

 

He is also survived by one sister and two brothers: Anna Cervantes (Juan) of Campbellsville, David Hamm of Florida, and Dean Hamm (Leslie) of Illinois, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

 

Philip had a passion for antique cars, cooking, and coin collecting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones. He was a family man, a loyal friend, and a good neighbor who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Joe Mohr, Donald Hamm Kathleen Hamm, and Ricky Hamm.

 

Philip will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Cremation was chosen, and there will be no services.

Memorials are suggested to be donations to Hosparus of Green River.
