Gerald “Jerry” Davis of Campbellsville, son of the late Edgar Lee Davis and Christine Graybeal Sprouse, was born February 27, 1945 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 4:23 P.M., Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Campbellsville.
Age: 73
Jerry professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
He was a retired employee of Parker Kalon in Campbellsville.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He united in marriage to Sandra Burress May 10, 1986 and she preceded him in death December 21, 2017.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Jeremy Davis, Jennifer Bell and Jacqueline Davis of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Destiny Young of Charlestown, Indiana, Corey Spurling, Nicholas Hall and Gabriella Hall of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren; two half-sisters: Pam Grissom and husband, Joey of Horse Cave and Kathy Ferguson and husband, Nick of Center; several other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lucile Ruth (Kennedy) Petkus of the Casey Creek area passed from this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Campbellsville. Born in Orleans County, New York on September 6, 1938 to the late Raymond and Arvilla (Williams) Kennedy, she was 80 years and 10 days of age. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Petkus, or Lucy, as she was affectionately known, was married to Mr. James Petkus, who survives. She loved her family and raising a garden, and her tradition of decorating her home for every holiday will continue in her honor.
She leaves to cherish her memory:

Six children: William “Billy” Kingdollar and wife Michelle of Casey Creek, David Kingdollar and wife Sherry of New York, Larry Kingdollar and wife Polly of New York, Jim Petkus of Washington, Charles Petkus and wife Sherry of New York, and Christine Goldstine of South Carolina,
A sister: Betty Kemp and husband Jack of New York,
Nine grandchildren,
Two special friends: Allenne Eastridge and Barbara Eastridge,
A sister-in-law: Geneva Kennedy of North Carolina,
And a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two children, Kim Kingdollar and Theresa Kingdollar, and four brothers, James “Jim” Kennedy, George Kennedy and wife Dorothy, Richard “Dick” Kennedy, and Thomas Kennedy and wife Grace.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Petkus on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sep. 19, from 2:00 PM until time for the service.

Mr. Donald Doyle Waymon of Campbellsville, son of the late Haddie Dale Ray Denny, was born on July 24, 1936. He passed from this life on Monday, September 17, 2018 at his home, being 82 years, 1 month, and 24 days of age. Mr. Waymon loved working and staying busy, and was a retiree of Lebanon Oak Flooring. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Victory Church. He enjoyed living life, and took pleasure in playing with his dogs, and repairing lawn mowers and mowing yards.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Two daughters: Beverly Lacefield and companion Tommy Houk of Elizabethtown, and Judy Simpson of Campbellsville,
Three siblings: Alma Ford and husband Conrad of Campbellsville, Stella Lynch of Indianapolis, and Junior Waymon of Campbellsville,
Six grandchildren: Paige Lacefield, Trenton Waymon, Josh Simpson, Justin Simpson, Bessie Wethington, and April Smith and husband Gary,
Five great-grandchildren,
And a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three children, Doyle Eugene Waymon, Joseph Garnett Waymon, and Richard DeWayne Waymon; six siblings, Harold Waymon, Joe Waymon, Charles Waymon, Edgar Waymon, Vernon Waymon, and Selma Miller; and two grandchildren, David Joe Kerr, and Samantha Jo Simpson.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Waymon on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Keith Fields will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliot Cemetery on Speck Ridge Rd.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 18, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
