Virginia K. Hartman, 71

Virginia K. Hartman, the daughter of the Rupert and Alide (Cox) Kelsey, was born Wednesday, April 30, 1947 in Tampa, Florida and departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Louisville at the Kindred at Jewish Hospital. She was 71 years, 2 months and 22 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jehovah Jireh Ministries in Campbellsville and was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, hiking and especially fishing, and her children considered her a super mom.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Nine children: Erlene Raye Robbins and husband William of Florida, Frank Thomas Hartman and wife Debbie of Greensburg, Kenneth Patrick Hartman of Summersville, Margaret Kathrine Ramirez of Florida, Virginia Gail Bell and husband Randall, II, of Brooks, Quinice Louise White and husband Jasmine of Colorado, Bessie Roseanne Hernandez and husband Dominic of Campbellsville, Charles Keith Hartman of Virginia, and Joseph Fredrick Hartman of Campbellsville,

Twenty grandchildren,

And a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends, including her dog: JJ.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Frank Ellsworth Hartman; a brother, Edward Kelsey; a sister, Elizabeth K. Donaldson; a grandchild, and numerous step-children.

The funeral service for Virginia K. Hartman will be conducted Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. Timothy Cooper and Rev. Rick Earley will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Thursday until time of service.

Sharon Kay Sherrell, 62

Sharon Kay Sherrell, the daughter of the late Howard Adrian Hicks and Edna Jane Sidwell Edwards, was born Monday, September 26, 1955 in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 62 years, 9 months and 27 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Whites Ridge Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Sharon loved her husband, her daughters and siblings, but the love for those seven grandchildren was never ending. Sharon loved to sing and in her final hours she sang “Sweet Beulah Land” a song she loved and a place she longed to see.
Survivors include: her husband: Darrell Sherrell of Campbellsville; two daughters: Tammy Kaye McClure of Campbellsville and Christi Lynn Raikes and husband Bee of Bradfordsville; three sisters: Louise Ford and husband Darrell, Debbie Cox and husband Jerry and Nita Tucker and husband Johnny, all of Campbellsville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jr and Darlene Sherrell of Bradfordsville; her seven dear grandchildren: Krysten Smith, Daniel Raikes, Eli Raikes, Kelsie Perkins, Sara Perkins, Grace Raikes and Joshua Raikes and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Sharon Kay Sherrell, will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Bro. Dickie Rogers will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Gideon Bible donations, those can be made at the funeral home.

Mary Evelyn Lee

Mary Evelyn Lee of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Basil Bault and Bertie Hovious Bault, was born March 19, 1939 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 A.M., Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over twenty years. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother and always liked to joke with her family.
She united in marriage to William “Bill” Lee September 3, 1955. He preceded her in death April 8, 2007.
She is survived by four daughters and three sons: Lori Feather and husband, Gary, Michelle Hunt and husband, Greg, Tammy Bennett, Kevin Lee and wife, Connie and Mike Lee and wife, Donna of Campbellsville, Patsy Kenner of Frankfort and Jim Bob Lee and wife, Juanita of Inglis, Florida: nineteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Betty Willis and William Bault of Campbellsville and Leonard Bault of Cane Valley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by five sister and two brothers: Maxine Stonecipher, Lonita Hancock, Annelle Cox, Doris Combs, Judy Estes, Leon Bault and Gordon Bault.
