Joe Knopp of Campbellsville, son of the late Joe Knopp and Hazel Shipp Knopp, was born January 8, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:05 P.M., Friday, May 11, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
Joe served his country honorably in the United States Army and served two tours of war in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was a retired employee of Kroger after thirty nine years of dedication. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He united in marriage to Frances Bennett February 3, 1951 and she preceded him in death March 6, 1990.
He is survived by one daughter and three sons: Connie Stiles and husband, Roger, Sam Knopp and wife, DeLisa and Terry Knopp of Campbellsville and Tommy Knopp of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren: Tiffany Lyons and husband, Adam of Fulton, Amy Knopp of Knifley, Missy Knopp and Savannah Lewis and husband, Zach of Campbellsville and TJ Knopp of Tampa, Florida; six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Pendleton of Knifley, Preston Cappiello of Columbia, Shelby Atwood, Brooke Atwood of Campbellsville, Quinn Lyons and Campbell Lyons of Fulton; one sister-in-law, Shelby Moore of Greensburg; one brother-in-law, Glenn Hawkins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers: Edith Hawkins, Ann White, Lucille Yates, Catherine Morgan, Dorothy Knopp, Margaret Knopp, Helen Williams, Marion Knopp and Edwin Knopp.

Welby Martin of Campbellsville, son of the late Vernon “Radio” Martin and Arlie Mae Brockman Martin, was born August 29, 1948 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:05 P.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 69
Welby was a retired glazer with Central Kentucky Glass Company. He professed faith in Christ and attended Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
Welby love traveling, listening to gospel music with his wife, camping and UK basketball, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
He united in marriage to Doris Jean Stephens June 11, 1977 and she preceded him in death November 17, 2013.
He is survived by one son and one daughter: Rodney Martin and Cindie Sharp and husband, Ernie of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Gabriel Sharp and Breanna Sharp of Campbellsville, Zachery Sharp of Dallas, Texas, Mark Martin and Hannah Martin of Eubank, Kentucky; two brothers: Wallace Martin and wife, Sandy of Georgetown and Ervin Martin and wife, Linda of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Joyce Lee and Juanita Carter.

Louise Gray of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Orvil Overton and Mabel Colvin Overton, was born June 29, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She passed over Jordan at 7:03 A.M., Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where she enjoyed many activities with the Young At Heart Group and had dedicated more than 50 years to teaching Sunday School both there and at Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She loved life, loved shopping and love taking care of others.
She united in marriage to G.E. Gray on June 23, 1951.
Besides her husband, G.E. Gray of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: Mark Gray of Campbellsville and Jamie Gray and wife, Bobbie of Georgetown; four grandchildren: Troy Gray of Campbellsville, Lindsay Nordin and husband, Danny of Nicholasville, Jacob Gray and Savannah Gray of Georgetown; two great-grandchildren: Bennett Nordin and Samuel Nordin of Nicholasville; one brother and one sister: Jim Overton and wife, Inez of Elizabethtown and Carolyn Belk and husband, Jerry of Louisville; one brother-in-law, R.C. Hardesty of Louisville; a special caregiver and friend, Beverly Cox of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, George Kerry Gray and three sisters: Joyce Griffin, Norma Jean Willis, and Geraldine Hardesty.
