Clyde Satterly, 75

Mr. Clyde Barkley Satterly of Campbellsville was born on October 4, 1942 to the late Ralph and Lillie (Smith) Satterly. He departed this life on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home, being 75 years, 6 months, and 3 days of age. Mr. Satterly was a retired driver for the Kerns Bread Company and a former pipeline employee. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Southern Baptist faith. A member of Pittman Masonic Lodge, he had also served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a kindhearted, solid, responsible man, and leaves a legacy of kindness and honor behind him. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether listening to the coon hounds run or rabbit or deer hunting, and had a knack for landing big bass. And it didn’t matter if he was trail riding horses or four wheelers, he always took time to make sure the stray cats were fed and cared for.

Mr. Satterly was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mrs. Linda Joyce (Harvey) Satterly on January 13, 2018.

He leaves to carry his legacy:

One son: Paul Satterly of Campbellsville,

Two sisters: Sadie Cain and husband Roy, and Betty Jean Pass and husband Robert, all of Lancaster,

Four grandchildren: Amy Satterly, Chris Satterly, Moriah Satterly, and Caitlynn Satterly,

Three great-grandchildren: Lydia Whitley, Caiden Whitley, and Jacy Caulk,

And a host of other family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Satterly on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Bob Cutler will be officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Ember Faith Brockman, 8 Days

Ms. Ember Faith Brockman, infant daughter of Whitney Floyd and Chase Brockman of Campbellsville, left this earth to be with her Lord on Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home. Born on March 29, 2018, she was 8 days of age. Although born with numerous physical ailments, she continually fought hard and lived long enough to feel the love of a family, and expressed hers back with a beautiful smile.

Besides her parents, she will always be cherished by:

A strong and healthy twin brother: Bentley Dakota Brockman,

A sister: Nevaeh Grace Morgan Brockman,

Her maternal grandparents: Tamara and Dan Tims, Jeannie and Tim Davis, Juanita Perkins, Maxine Davis, and Carolyn Sue Ennis Tims,

Her paternal grandparents: Wendi and Bryan Akin, Scott and Elizabeth Brockman, Debra and Roger Sprowles, Randall and Lorena Brockamn, Elbert and Louise Shofner, and Goldie Sprowles,

And a host of extended family.

There will be a graveside funeral service to honor her life on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Neil Salvaterra will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY, on Monday, April 9, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

John David McKinley

John David McKinley of Campbellsville, son of the late Adolphus L. McKinley and Sue Kathryn Thomas McKinley, was born June 21, 1952, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:25 P.M., Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 65
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church.
John David was co-owner of McKinley Monument Company with his brother, Mark.
When he wasn’t working in the family business he could be found at his cabin watching the deer or a Nascar race, out on the tractor or ATV enjoying the great outdoors, hunting or taking his grandchildren fishing, or at a family gathering grilling up something special for the ones he loved so dearly.
He united in marriage to Missy Baker February 14, 2001.
Besides his wife, Missy McKinley of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Sarah McKinley and Rachel Moss and husband, Curtis of Campbellsville; two step-sons: Casey Baker and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville and Cody Baker and wife, Ashley of Edmonton; seven grandchildren: McKinley Moss, Camden Moss, Case Baker, Wes Baker, Ty Farmer, Hunter Farmer and Cash Baker; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Vickie McKinley of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law, Betty Bennett of Campbellsville; one uncle, Bob Olt of Greensburg; two nieces and one nephew: Maggie Adams and husband, Kevin, Ellie McKinley and Simon Hedeen and wife, Karin; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry McKinley September 11, 1984.
