Pamela Gregory, 70, passed away March 13, 2018 in her home in Campbellsville, Kentucky, after a long battle with what revealed itself to be cancer. After having spent her early years growing up in Boston, MA, and on the East Coast, Pamela moved to Central Kentucky in the 1970’s, remaining here the rest of her adult life.
She acquired her Master’s degree in teaching at Campbellsville University and spent many years teaching at St. Charles’ Middle School in Marion County, retiring in 2012. In her personal time, she enjoyed painting watercolors of landscapes and the surrounding area.
She is survived by her daughter Cara Brower of Los Angeles, California, her son Michael Rice of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and her loving partner Greg Costello of Knifley, Kentucky.
The family would like to thank her dear friends who visited her in her final weeks and to Hosparus Health of Central KY for their incredible care and support.
The family will celebrate her life privately.

Eva Sallee Close Bowman, 97 years, 4 month and 26 days of age, died on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Concordia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, Kentucky.
Eva was born on Wednesday, October 13, 1920 in Green County, to the late Emmett and Fannie Sallee. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Fred Bowman as well as a daughter, Louise Close, a son, William James Close and a great grandson, Jeremy Wilkerson and 4 brothers and one sister.
She worked for 30 plus years at Fruit of the Loom. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and had been a member of First United Methodist Church in Campbellsville over 77 years as well as having attended Drakesboro Methodist Church with her daughter when she was able.
Eva is survived by one daughter, Della Close Goff and husband DuWayne of Drakesboro and one sister, Ada Margaret Daily of Greenville, Indiana. In addition, surviving are nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Eva Sallee Close Bowman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Salvaterra officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
The family request visitation between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on March 14, 2018, prior to the service at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to either First United Methodist Church of Campbellsville or Drakesboro United Methodist Church and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Stephen Lyle Sanders, 60 years, 2 months and 13 days of age of Knifley died on Thursday, March 8, 2018, peacefully after an illness, at his home with his family by his side.
Stephen was born in Campbellsville on December 23, 1957, the son of the late James Sherwood and Exzilda Wethington Sanders. Also preceding him in death was his brother-in-law, Carl Sandidge, Sr.
He was known by many, having served the community well, as owner of Service Cleaners. When not working at the Cleaners, you would often find him farming which he enjoyed. He was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church where he served in several roles including the Parish Council. He also served on the Revisit Knifley Committee.
Stephen is survived by a brother, James Byron Sanders and wife Wanda, three sisters, Karen Jane Richerson and Frieda Lynn Sandidge all of Campbellsville and Marsha Rhea Spires and husband Tommy of Louisville. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews, Brian Thomas Spires, Tonya Rhea Dunn, Mark Richerson, Natalie Brinley, Carl Sandidge and Ashley Kuehl as well as two step nephews, Chad Myers and Josh Myers. In addition, surviving are nine great nieces and nephews, four step great nieces and one step great nephew and three great-great nieces.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Clementsville with Rev. George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard Catholic Church Cemetery with casket bearers being, Charles Sanders, Timothy Sanders, Gregory Wethington, Mike Wethington, Paul Eastridge and Randall Thompson.
The family request visitation from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Prayer Service being held at 6:00 p.m.
The family request that expressions of sympathy be donations to St. Bernard Catholic Church, American Cancer Society or Hosparus Health of Green River and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
