Mr. William E. “Pete” Perkins of Campbellsville was born in Green County on February 27, 1936 to the late James E. and Alma (Coakley) Perkins. He departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age. Mr. Perkins had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He was a retired insurance agent and husband of Mrs. Mildred Perkins, who survives. As a young man of honor, he served his country with dignity in the United States Army. Mr. Perkins enjoyed athletic activities; he often relaxed by playing a round of golf or watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He loved introducing kids to sports and was an umpire and coach for many years in the American Legion Youth Baseball league.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

One son: Jim Perkins and wife Valerie of Greensburg,
Two step-daughters: Gayle Newton and husband Rick of Campbellsville, and Patricia Boone and husband Alex of Lexington,
Three sisters: Elizabeth Leftwich of Greensburg, Sue Penick of Campbellsville, and Sarah Hodges of Greensburg,
Five grandchildren: Ed Perkins and wife Sarah, Patrick Newton and wife Stephanie, Andrew Newton and fiancé Cassie Perkins, Ali Boone, and Catie Boone,
And a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Perkins had chosen cremation, and those honors were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Rob Hughes and Bro. Dale Curry will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow.

Jannie Louise McKay, 92 years, 4 months and 6 days of age, of Lebanon, died, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home in Lebanon after a brief illness
Louise was born October 2, 1925 in Lebanon the daughter of the late Willie and Birdie Chandler Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles McKay as well as their son, Walter McKay and two daughters-in-law, Hattie McKay and Shirley McKay.
Throughout her life, hard work was no stranger to Ms. Louise, having worked at General Motors, a furniture store, Holly Hill Motel and was a member of the Golden Girls. As the matriarch of the McKay family, she leaves many wonderful memories that will stay with them for years to come. As one of the children said, she liked to take the rod of correction and introduce it to the seat of understanding. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tucker Hill Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Surviving are her sons, Josh McKay and wife Helen and Emmett McKay and wife Nannie, both of Lebanon, Calvin McKay and wife Susan and Eugene McKay of Campbellsville, Robert McKay of Memphis, two daughters, Wanda Johnson and husband Byron of Bowling Green and Julia McKay of Lebanon. A brother survives, John Hart of Lebanon and her close friend Elizabeth Johnson as well as 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Louise McKay will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lebanon with Bro. Dale Smith officiating. Bearers will be sons, Josh McKay, Calvin McKay, Eugene McKay, Robert McKay, Emmett McKay and son-in-law, Byron Johnson with burial in Tucker Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
The family request visitation on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Peggy Clark of Campbellsville, daughter of Pat Hennessee Perkins and the late James R. “Jim” Perkins, was born March 29, 1951 in Fayette County, Kentucky. She died at 3:57 A.M., Friday, February 9, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 66
She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Broadway Church of Christ.
Peggy was a retired employee of Metzmeier Nursing Home.
She united in marriage to Steve Clark August 7, 1970.
Besides her husband, Steve Clark of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters: Kristi Clark and Heather Durham of Campbellsville; three grandsons: Jordan Hinton and fiancé, Shelby Carney and Blake Clark of Campbellsville and Isaiah Durham of Radcliff; her mother, Pat Perkins of Campbellsville; one sister and three brothers: Patty Reynolds and husband, Steven of Campbellsville, Kenny Perkins and wife, Dian of Franklin, Jimmy Perkins and wife, Denise of Louisville, Bill Perkins and wife, Elayne of Athens, Alabama; a sister-in-law, Diane Cary and husband, Jr. of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
