Etta Mae Hazard of Campbellsville, was born August 19, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:40 A.M., Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Barren County Nursing Home.
Age: 92
She was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Etta was a retired employee of the Kentucky Dry Cleaners and the Buckner Miller Dry Cleaners.
She united in marriage to Omer R. Hazard June 22, 1944 and he preceded her in death March 11, 1980.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Mark Hazard and wife, Brenda of Campbellsville and Brenda Posey and husband, Paul of Louisville; three grandchildren: Marissa Hazard of Campbellsville, Jonathan R. Posey of Alexandria, Virginia and Paul Stephen Posey of Columbia, South Carolina; one half sister-in-law, Johnette Jones and husband, David of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Hazard, in 2014.

Ursula Finegan, 80

Mrs. Ursula K. Finegan of the Cane Valley community passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2018 after an illness. Born on November 16, 1938 in Bremen, Germany to the late Fredrick and Eleanora (Wollman) Krueger, she was 80 years, 1 month, and 3 days of age. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and friend, and instilled her legacy and Christian values in her children. She enjoyed reading, especially things of solid moral value, and raising a garden and flowers.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Five children: Jimmy Ray Finegan and wife Cindy of Washington, Robert Lee Finegan and wife Shawna of Tennessee, Bilinda Lines and husband Jimmy of Cane Valley, Angelica Ann Melton and husband Shane of Georgia, and Regina Eleanora Harshaw and husband Chris of Tennessee,
Two siblings: Gisela Grother and Garett Vondenberg, both of Germany,
Nineteen grandchildren,
Ten great-grandchildren,
Her furry friends: Pepper and Dexter,
And a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rayvel George Finegan, and a son, Roy “Norm” Finegan.
Cremation rites were accorded her by the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Campbellsville, KY. There will be a memorial service held to honor her life at her home on a later date.

Joanna McCarty

Joanna McCarty of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Harry Chaney and Jewell Bryant Chaney, was born September 30, 1937 in Fayette County, Kentucky. She died at 1:45 P.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 81
She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Joanna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, was co-owner and operator of Druther’s Restaurant in Campbellsville with her husband, Charles and she enjoyed helping at the food bank.
She united in marriage to Charles McCarty May 7, 1957 and he preceded her in death July 30, 2012.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Steve McCarty and wife, Roxann and Kathy Clark and husband, Greg of Campbellsville and Rick L. McCarty and wife, Jen of Winchester, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Stephanie McCarty of Henderson, Kentucky, Beth Clark-Milby and husband, Brandon of Richmond, Kentucky, Sean McCarty and wife, Brooke of Nashville, Tennessee, Makenzie McCarty of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Rick McCarty and wife, Rayna of Abileen, Texas and Jonathon McCarty of New Orleans, Louisiana; four great-grandchildren: Mya McCarty, Myles McCarty, Mia McCarty and Ava Cowherd: three sisters and two brothers: Debby Bennett of Campbellsville, Opal Burton of Lexington, Donna McCormack and husband, John of Florida, Harry Chaney, Jr. and wife, Jamie of Dallas, Texas and Danny Chaney; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Martin and Cindy Gaede.
