Gerald Hodges “Hodge” Skaggs of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest Hamilton Skaggs and Annie Elizabeth Matherly Skaggs was born November 26, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:30 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
Hodge retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after some forty years of service.
He loved the outdoors and could often be found wading, fishing or hunting wild mushrooms when he was not spending time with his grandchildren and the rest of his family.
Hodge united in marriage to Dimple Sallee June 28, 1958 and she preceded him in death May 12, 1992.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Doss of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Andrea Smith Finn and husband, Jordan, Jackie Smith and Chelsey Doss Thompson of Campbellsville, Thomas Smith and wife, Chanelle of Louisville and Katie Doss Evans and husband, Dalen of Hendersonville, Tennessee; thirteen great-grandchildren: Kylee Cox, Evan Finn, Carson Smith, Camden Finn, Layne Fisher, Parker Hamilton, Owen Thompson, Kadynn Smith, Ella Ferguson, Willa Thompson, Dansby Thompson, Nash Evans and Merritt Smith; a special friend, Betty Myers; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his wife, Dimple Skaggs he is preceded in death by a son, Jerry Thomas Skaggs; four brothers and one sister: Ted Skaggs, Thomas Hamilton Skaggs, Lee Skaggs, Jimmy Skaggs and Virginia Skaggs and a son-in-law, Jerry Doss.

Norman Christopher McMahan of Campbellsville, son of Randall R. McMahan and the late Jane Rucker McMahan, was born June 4, 1959 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:48 A.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 59
Norman professed faith and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He loved to camp and fish and took the opportunity every chance he had.
Norman is survived by one daughter and one son: Desiree Corona and Brandon McMahan of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Cayden Corona, Kendall Cruz, and Noelan McMahan of Campbellsville; his father, Randall McMahan; four brothers: Anthony McMahan and wife, Deborah of Elkhorn, Timmy McMahan and Rodney McMahan of Campbellsville, and Jeffrey McMahan of Jeffersonville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sons: Ryan McMahan and Justin McMahan.

Edward R. “Ed” Gorin of Campbellsville, son of the late T.J. Gorin, Jr. and Hazel Robertson Gorin, was born August 25, 1948, in Green County, Kentucky. He departed this life at 12:43 P.M., Thursday, November 15, in Clarksville, Indiana at the Wedgewood Rehab and Nursing Facility. Age: 70
Ed loved the Lord and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Black Gnat. He served as Deacon, Treasurer and Sunday School teacher of the adult men’s class.
Ed worked at Fruit of the Loom for twenty seven and one-half years. He also drove a school bus in Green County and worked in the cafeteria at Taylor County High School. He farmed and raised Black Angus cattle and was a member of the Taylor County Cattlemen’s Association. He enjoyed being out on the tractor and talking with the Lord. He also served as magistrate in the fifth district for sixteen years and served on many committees. Ed was a member of the Taylor County Board of Education and truly enjoyed serving the citizens of Taylor County.
He united in marriage to Rebecca Altman January 22, 1968. He is survived by one son, Edward W. Gorin and wife, Janet of Greensburg; one granddaughter, Aubrey Grace Gorin of Greensburg; one brother, Maurice W. Gorin and wife, Lois of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Betty Joe Kurcbaum and husband, Morrie of Boca Raton, Florida; one nephew, Brett Gorin of Elizabethtown; one niece, Amanda Mattingly of Lebanon; two great nephews and three great- nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
