Eleanor Tucker Hedgespeth

Eleanor Tucker Hedgespeth of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Money and Commie Justus Sullivan Money, was born October 7, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky.  She died at 6:50 P.M., Thursday, August 7, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  95

She professed faith in Christ at an early age and served Him faithfully throughout her life.  She was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church where she was very active and taught Sunday School for many years.

She united in marriage to William A. Tucker November 3, 1952 and he preceded her in death June 6, 1968.  Eleanor later united in marriage to Lilburn Hedgespeth July 16, 1983 and he preceded her in death August 3, 2025.

Eleanor was a wonderful mother and grandmother who valued her family over everything but her Lord.  She was a steadfast example of unconditional love and a prayer warrior who constantly prayed over her family and sought God’s guidance in everything she did.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter:  Bill Tucker and wife, Janis of Knoxville, Tennessee, John Tucker and wife, Vicky of Lexington and Laura Hatcher and husband, Danny of Campbellsville; one step-son, Tony Hedgespeth and fiance’, Angela Bledsoe of Bowling Green; six grandchildren: T. J. Tucker and wife, April of Franklin, Tennessee, Tiffany Barton and husband, Daniel and Traci Price and husband, Justin of Knoxville, Tennessee, Andrea Henderson and husband, Matt of Lexington and Daniel Hatcher and wife, Megan and Brittany Hunt and husband, Jeff of Campbellsville; several great-grandchildren; one brother, George Money, Jr. and wife, Sue Ellen of Buffalo, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Terry Sandidge of Buffalo, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters:  Alton Eugene “Gene” Money, Parson  Money, Cora Faulkner, Sue Sandidge, Agnes Warren, Annas Coleman and Lois McAnelly.

Leroy Knifley

Leroy Knifley of Campbellsville, son of the late Gilbert Knifley and Cecil Bryant Knifley, was born October 6, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 5:39 P.M., Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  92

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.  Leroy loved his Lord and family.

He enjoyed working and worked every day as a farmer.  Leroy was successful with everything he did.

Leroy united in marriage to Mae Sublett February 18, 1953 and she preceded him in death March 21, 2022.

He is survived by two sons: Eugene Knifley and wife, Delaine and Kenneth Knifley of Campbellsville; one grandson, Lyle Knifley and wife, Amy of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren:  Aleah Knifley, Lance Knifley and Aubreigh Knifley; two brothers and one sister:  Bobby Knifley and wife, Sue Ellen and Lowell Knifley and wife, Shirley of Campbellsville and Carol McKinley of Danville; one sister-in-law, Monnie Knifley of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers:  James H. “Jimmie” Knifley and Russell Knifley in infancy.

Raymond Pendleton

Raymond Pendleton of Campbellsville, son of the late Eddie Wheat Pendleton and Flora Elizabeth Larimore Pendleton, was born May 22, 1933 in Borger, Texas.  He died at 5:55 P.M., Monday, August 4, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age:  92

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Raymond was a hard worker and a retired farmer.  His family said he was a good man who loved to cut-up and tell jokes.

He united in marriage to Susan Garrett October 12, 1956.

Besides his wife, Susan Pendleton of Campbellsville, Raymond is survived by several nieces and nephews; a special caregiver, Margaret Skaggs and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters:  James L. Pendleton, Edward Pendleton, Robert M. Pendleton, John W. Pendleton, Bernard Pendleton, Betty Richerson and Pauline Patterson.
