 Lanny Druin of Campbellsville, son of the late Charlie R. Druin and Venie Franklin Druin, was born January 13, 1945, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:40 A.M., Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and attended Saloma Baptist Church.
Lanny was a salesman at Cox Interior and had been employed for over thirty six years. He enjoyed playing golf and loved watching his grandsons play sports.
He united in marriage to Ann Curry December 17, 1965.
Besides his wife, Ann Druin, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Jeffery Druin and wife, Angela of Bardstown and Beverly Druin of Shelbyville; three grandsons: Zack Mings and wife, Shelby of Shelbyville, Clay Druin and Kyle Druin of Bardstown; one great-grandson, Druin Tate Mings of Shelbyville; one sister, Freida Anderson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Bobby Druin and Audrey Weatherford.

Sammie Bryant of Campbellsville, son of the late Coy Bryant and Eula Grant Bryant, was born August 1, 1930, in Adair County, Kentucky and departed this life at 10:44 P.M., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
He attended the First Church of God on Hillcrest Drive in Campbellsville and attended services regularly and enjoyed the fellowship of his Church family.
He served his country honorable in the United States Army in 1954 and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was proud to serve his Country and was granted an honorable discharge on March 12, 1962.
Sammie was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for approximately thirty-seven years and was retired from this place of employment.
Sammie’s favorite past times were fishing, hunting and gardening as long as his health permitted. He also loved to work in the yard and enjoyed the beauty of a weed free lawn and beautiful flowers.
Sam is survived by his wife, Shelbie Jean Clark and they united in marriage on June 28, 1959 at Campbellsville Christian Church by Minister Paul Bohrer.
Also survived by one son, Steve “Buckwheat” Bryant and fiancée, China Nolley of Campbellsville and a daughter, Susan Halliday and husband, Duane of Frankfort; two grandchildren: Drew Bryant and companion, Tasha Goodman of Campbellsville and Sarah Bell and husband, Jordan of Charleston, South Carolina; one step-great-granddaughter, Darby Halliday of Ruskin, Florida; chosen son, Robert “Boo” Cowherd and wife, Deanna of Campbellsville; three brothers and two sisters: Keith Bryant and wife, Connie, Noel Bryant and Shirley Seaborne and husband, Roy of Campbellsville, Robert “Bob” Bryant and wife, Marilyn, of Memphis, Indiana and Cleo Burress of Mt. Washington; one sister-in-law, Priscilla Thomas and husband, Shelby of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Eula Grant Bryant and his father and mother-in-law, P. C. and Irene Clark.

 Steven Dewayne “Bob” Mitchell, the son of the late Wilbert and Nancy Hill Mitchell, was born Thursday, May 30, 1963 in Marion County and departed this life Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. He was 55 years, 4 months and 25 days of age.
He was a dairy farmer and was of the Christian Faith.
“Bob”, as he was known by, enjoyed fishing, camping, and building model cars.
Survivors include: his wife: Freida Jeanine Dedman Mitchell of Springfield; two children: Dale Preston and Amberdina Allen; five grandchildren: Taiten Allen, Jazzlynn Williams, Laithun Cotton, D’Andre Jeter and Arthur Creth III; sister-in-law: Louise Dedman Phillips; brothers-in-law: David Dedman and Dixon Dedman; nephews: Joshua Lee Dedman, Jonathon Dedman and Isaac Phillips and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Freddie Lane Mitchell.
The funeral service for Steven Dewayne “Bob” Mitchell will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow.
Family requests visitation after 11 A.M. on Saturday until time for the service at the funeral home.
