 Bobby Phillips of Magnolia, son of the late Hugh Leonard Phillips and Rebecca Wilson Phillips, was born August 15, 1941, in Peoria, Illinois. He died at 7:28 A.M., Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Elizabethtown. Age: 76
Bobby professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Magnolia.
He was a retired employee of Phillip Morris and was a former Freemason. Bobby was a big hearted man and his faithful giving to St. Jude Children’s Hospital proved just that. After moving from Louisville he enjoyed collecting Henry firearms mostly in .22 calibers, looking at old cars and loved Bald Eagles. Most of all Bobby loved his family especially his wife, Rachel.
He united in marriage to Rachel Harris March 7, 1964 and she preceded him in death April 20, 2013.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Lois Garr of Magnolia; two granddaughters: Rebecca Ann Chancellor and husband, Criss of Lexington and MaryLynn Louise Garr of Magnolia; one great-grandson, Thomas James Choate of Lexington; one brother and one sister: Rollin Phillips of Louisville and Brenda Siegrist of Holiday, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rachel Luriee Kays; three brothers and one sister: William Edward Phillips, Wayne R. Phillips and Charles Phillips and Nellie Jane Phillips in infancy.

 Carol Montgomery of Munfordville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Homer Kearney and Mary Helen McNear Kearney Browning, was born February 23, 1941, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Munfordville. Age: 77
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Beulah United Methodist Church in Hart County.
Carol was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family very much.
She united in marriage to Ed Montgomery August 7, 1959.
Besides her husband, Ed Montgomery of Munfordville, she is survived by three daughters: Sherry Mason and husband, Joe of Charlotte, North Carolina, Cindy Hughes and husband, Scott of Bowling Green and Tonya Montgomery and Ronney Calton of Lexington; four grandchildren: Trey Mason and wife, Lina of Charlotte, North Carolina, Josh Jewell and Nick Jewell of Louisville and Ashley Scott of Bowling Green; four step-grandchildren: Emily Miller and husband, Nick of Paducah, Jon Hughes of Nashville, Tennessee, Matt Hughes and wife, Hannah of Cleveland, Tennessee and Zach Hughes of Nashville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren: Aislyn Jewell and Adaleigh Jewell of Louisville and John Mason of Charlotte; North Carolina; three step-great-grandchildren: Chloe Miller and Elliot Miller of Paducah and Lilly Hughes of Cleveland, Tennessee; three brothers and one sister: Larry Kearney and wife, Betty of Campbellsville, Mike Kearney and wife, Stephanie of Groesbeck, Texas, Ralph Kearney and wife, Carolyn of Cox’s Creek and Darlene Perkins of Frankfort; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Phillips and husband, Wayne Phillips.

Mary Etta Sapp Dudgeon of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Floyd Sapp and Cleo Cave Sapp, was born May 13, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:40 P.M., Monday, June 18, 2018 at the age of 85.
She professed faith in Christ as a young girl and followed her faith for Christ through her life. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Mary Etta was an employee of the Taylor County Clerk’s Office for some twenty-three years, a member of the Taylor Republican Women’s Club for many years and a long-time proprietor of Sapp’s Lake in Merrimac, Kentucky.
She was a beautiful lady inside and out and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved everyone deeply.
She united in marriage to Donald A. Dudgeon June 6, 1953 and he preceded her in death June 8, 2012.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Allen Dudgeon, Donna Hayes and husband, David and Henrietta Barnett and husband, Steve of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Dana Hayes Fuller and husband, Ches of Lexington, Drew Allen Hayes and wife, Sarah and Clay Evan Barnett of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Clara Grace Fuller, Eli Chesley Fuller, Anniston Hayes and an expected great-granddaughter; one nephew, Barry Sapp of Louisville; special caregiver and friend, Nettie Cox of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Sapp and two brothers in infancy.
