Anna Williams of Elizabethton, Tennessee, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late C. M. Williams and Lera Almarine Morrison Williams, was born June 2, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Age: 93
She professed faith in Christ and had been a member of First Methodist Church since she was 12 years old. Anna lived in Campbellsville all of her life until she moved to Elizabethton in April of 2024.
Anna’s first job was with the Taylor County School System as a cook and later she became an assistant librarian with the school system. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville as an inspector.
She loved reading and spent most of her days reading Amish love stories.
Anna is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Brenda Williams of Elizabethton, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Chris Williams and wife, Beth of Greensburg and Joy Inman and husband, Jason of Springfield; six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Williams, Nathan Williams, Ethan Williams, Haven Cutler, Hunter Inman and Savana Inman; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Anna was also preceded in death by one brother and six sisters: Jerry Williams, Eloise Elmore, Cena Hottel, Clara Newton, Betty Pyles, Audrey Rhinehart and Nellie Katheryn Williams.

Mary Lou Young of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Gilbert Hay and Frances Coogle Hay, was born August 14, 1953 in Hardin County, Kentucky. She died at 11:15 P.M., Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 72
She professed faith in Christ and called Campbellsville Crossroads Community Church her church home.
She was a retired employee of the Social Security Administration where she served over thirty years. After retirement, she was self employed at Young and Associates.
Mary united in marriage to Gary Young February 17, 1973.
Besides her husband, Gary Young of Campbellsville, Mary is survived by two sons: Kyle Young and wife, Erica, and Kevin Young and wife, Shaunna of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; Easton Young, Zane Young, Addalyn Young, Kipton Young, Emmalyn Young, Thatcher Young, and Finley Young; two brothers and two sisters: Bill Hay and wife, Debbie of Elizabethtown, Larry Hay and wife, Rosemarie of White Mills, Ky, Judy McCoy and husband, Jim of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Cheryl Davis Pearson of Vine Grove, Ky; one sister-in-law, Freda Hay of White Mills, Ky; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Hay.

Danny Gene Woodcox of Campbellsville, formerly of Jamestown, the son of the late William and Dora (Andrew) Woodcox, was born December 18, 1942, in Jefferson County, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at his home. He was 82 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Merrimac Masonic Lodge. Where he served as a master and secretary.
He was a former timberman and sawmill owner.
Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling on bus tours, and was a master welder.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (West) Woodcox, whom he married on June 8, 1963; a daughter, Teresa Garrett and husband Jeff; a son, Tim Woodcox and wife Janet, all of Campbellsville.
Also a sister-in-law: Nina Murray; six grandchildren: Brandon Tucker and Hannah, Cole Tucker and Jordan, Ashleigh Pruyear and Cameron, Allison Lawson and Beth, Andrea Thompson and Daniel, and Drew Woodcox; his great-grandchildren: Jayson, Jameson, Jackson, Joshua, Grayson, and Kannon, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Danny Gene Woodcox will be Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
Interment in the Jamestown City Cemetery
Bro. Brent Gupton will be officiating.
Visitation will be on Sunday after 10:00 A.M. EST until the time for the service.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice and can be at the funeral home.
