 Randall Leon Warren, age 60, of Louisville, was born August 15, 1956 and departed this life peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2017. Randall was a hardworking and honest man who prized his family above all else. He had an unforgettable smile and laugh. He enjoyed dancing, riding his Harley, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Warren and a step-brother: James McNear.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Matthew Warren, Randall C. Warren (Danielle), and Whitley Warren; grandchildren, Vincent, Giovanni, Armani, and Ava Leona; his father, Herman Warren (Flossie) of Campbellsville; his sisters and brother: Linda Riley (Steve), Brenda Roberts (Keith) of Louisville, Gayle Cox (Stevie), and Carolyn Thompson (Billy) and Roger Warren all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
There will be no public visitation or funeral.

Tommy Breeding, long time Funeral Director and Embalmer, of Ravenna, formerly of Campbellsville, died Wednesday, July 26th in Richmond, after a brief illness, at the age of 78.
Tommy was born, November 17, 1938, the oldest son of the late Samuel Thomas and Margaret Sue Massie Breeding in Taylor County, Kentucky. He graduated from Adair County High School and after working various jobs, went to work for his future father-in-law, Marshall Lyon at Lyon Funeral Home in Campbellsville. On June 17, 1961 he married Elizabeth Lyon, the daughter of Marshall and Myrtle Lyon. He joined the National Guard where he served from 1962-1965 and then attended Kentucky School of Mortuary Science and after graduating in 1967, served his apprenticeship under the direction of Embry-Bosse Funeral Home in Louisville. In 1972, Tommy and Libby purchased Lyon Funeral Home from her parents where they served the Taylor County community until 1986 when they retired and sold the business to Larry DeWitt. After his retirement, they spent a lot of their time in South Florida until he took a job as a car salesman at Newcomb-Buick GMC, in Campbellsville. In 1988, he chose to return to the funeral business as manager of Lewis Funeral Home in Irvine where he worked until he retired again in 2003, and he and Libby remained in Estill County until his death. Tommy became an avid hunter, fisherman and a Trap Shooter where he won First Place in many tournaments. He was an active Mason, Shriner, and a member of the River Drive Christian Church in Irvine.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Libby Lyon Breeding and their son, T. Breeding of Lexington and daughter, LuAnn Breeding of Winchester. Also surviving are his brother and sister, Joe Irving Breeding and his wife Becky of Montgomery, AL and Betty Lou Benningfield and her husband Richard of Glasgow, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Tommy Breeding will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Columbia City Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 10:00 until 12:00 on August 2, 2017 at Lyon-Dewitt Berry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to be donations to the Jimmy V. Foundation or the Taylor County SPCA and can be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Arthur G. “Art” Shields, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Arthur G. Shields Sr. and Ruth Marie Ferree Shields, was born October 6, 1924 in Hardin County, Kentucky. He passed away at his home at 7:40 P.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Art attended the Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee through high school. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, entering World War II with the 45th Infantry Division. Making amphibious landings at Anzio and southern France, he fought in Sicily and Italy; through France and Belgium and into Germany, where he was stationed until the end of the war. While in Europe, he was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, the Europe Africa Ribbon with three Bronze Stars and the World War II Victory Medal.
Coming home, he attended Lees McRae Jr. College in Banner Elk, North Carolina until the start of the Korean War, when he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving with the Strategic Air Command until 1952.
He united in marriage to Florence Kidd on November 25, 1952. The couple made their home in Louisville where he worked for Ford Motor Company and attended the University of Louisville. She later preceded him in death on October 3, 2008.
In May, 1959, he joined the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company at the Gabe Plant in Green County, Kentucky retiring on January 1, 1986.
Active in the Republican Party, he never voted anything but a straight Republican ticket; and served as Co-Chairman of the Kentucky State Board of Education during the Louie B. Nunn administration. Art was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Pitman Lodge # 124 F&AM
He is survived by one son and one daughter: William “Billy” Shields and Catherine “Cathy” Harker and husband, Ken of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jennifer Shields, Jaclyn Swencki and husband, Patrick of Nashville, Tennessee; Chance Harker and Kayla Harker of Campbellsville; one sister, Margaret Fox of Louisville; a sister-in-law, Blondina Wood of Campbellsville; several nephews and many great-nieces.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Shields, three brothers-in-law: William Coy Kidd, Ancil Wood and Howard Fox and a sister-in-law, Patricia Kidd.
The family would like to thank Lifeline Home Health, Hosparus of Green River and a special thanks to Art’s caregivers: Patsy Bohanon, Beverly Cox and Pat Simpson.
