Jewell F. Milby of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Coakley Cox and Nannie White Cox Wood, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 1, 1937. She died at 4:20 A.M., Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as an deacon.
She was a retired clerk with the U. S. Corps of Engineers.
She united in marriage to Bruce Milby October 21, 1956.
Besides her husband, Bruce Milby of Campbellsville; she is survived by two sons:
Bryon Milby of Campbellsville and Steve and Donna Milby of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; two granddaughters: Amber Milby and Haley Milby of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; two sisters: Norma Jean and David Johnson and Ann and Herald Gaddis of Campbellsville; one brother, James and Geraldine Cox of Campbellsville; special friends: Opal Goff and Linda McMahan of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth Sue King, 71

Mrs. Elizabeth Sue King of Campbellsville left this world for her eternal home on Tuesday, February 15, 2017. Born on February 23, 1945 to the late William Dewey and Ina Emiline (Kilby) Whited, she was 71 years, 11 months, and 23 days of age. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. Mrs. King retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant after 36 years of service, and as a CNA from Taylor County Hospital. A generous woman with a tender heart, she often shared her talents as a pianist with several area churches.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Four children: Anna Gabehart and husband Pete of Knifley, Ricky King of Knifley, David King of Elk Horn, and Rebecca Beard and husband Robert of Knifley,

Eleven grandchildren,

Numerous foster grandchildren,

Several great-grandchildren,

And a host of extended family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell King in 2007, and four siblings, James Whited and Samuel Whited in infancy, and Annie Mae Despain and Helen Rafferty.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. King on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Evan Tedder, Bro. Ronnie Dooley, and Bro. David Wray will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Chappel Cemetery, Highway 76, Knifley, KY 42753.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 17, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.

Warren Lynn Cox, age 48

Warren Lynn Cox, age 48, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Louisville following an illness.

He was born February 14, 1969 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Gerald Cox and Nina Watson Cox who survives.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Shane Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Cox; a daughter, Courtney Hamilton and her husband, Ben; two sons Scott Cox and Ryen Cox, all of Campbellsville; his mother, Nina Cox of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Bryleigh Wheet, Levi Brady, Lilyana Hamilton and Lia Cox and a step-granddaughter, Tatum Hamilton. Also surviving are two sisters and their husbands, Shannon and Greg Buckles of Green County and Sherri and Mathew Mullins of Mt. Vernon.

Funerals services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. David Wray officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Thompson, William Earl Knuckles, Jeff Garrett, Andrew Gilbert, Brian Oliver and Detrick Briggs.

The family requests visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 17th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
