 Rodney Burress of Elk Horn, son of Bobby Lee Burress and Dorothy Jean Wethington Burress was born September 4, 1960 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:28 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2019 in Elk Horn. Age: 58
He professed faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg Church of God.
Rodney held many jobs including the Road Department from 1986-1989,Taylor County Jailer from 1990 – 2005 and Taylor County Circuit Court Clerk from 2005 until his retirement in 2018; but his true passion was farming with his dad, brother and sons. Rodney was a gentle giant with a servant heart who offered assistance to many people; he stood up for his beliefs about God and country and was a strong supporter of the Circuit Court Clerks program: Kentucky Trust for Life. Rodney was also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
He united in marriage to Toni Carol Miller, March 10, 1984. Besides his wife, Toni Burress of Elk Horn, he is survived by two sons: Adam Burress and wife, Amanda and Matt Burress and wife, Megan; four grandchildren: Andrew Blake Burress, Peyton Lee Burress, Mason Alexander Burress and Adalynn Grace Burress; his parents, Bobby and Dorothy Burress; one brother, Allen Burress and wife, Kecia all of Elk Horn; his mother-in-law, Rose Miller and brother-in-law, Tommy Miller of Liberty; sister-in-law, Debbie Miller of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Maitlynn Leigh Burress, February 21, 2012 and one sister, Sandy Burress Davis, December 21, 2017.

Donnie Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Lester L. Cox and Ruth Gore Cox was born January 9, 1953 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:35 A.M., Friday, April 26, 2019 in Bardstown. Age: 66
He had professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church when he was able.
Donnie struggled with mental illness most of his life.
He is survived by one daughter, Renee Cox. He is also survived by one brother, Larry G. Cox; one nephew, Ben Cox and wife, Shannon and one niece, Lorna Bush and husband Greg all of Campbellsville.

Linda Lou Nunn of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Kermit Edward Cox and Pernie Marie Lawson Cox, was born November 11, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:39 A.M., Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 71
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church.
Linda worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart for some 23 years.
She was always available if her family needed anything, Linda was the glue that kept her family together, she knew how to make her kids and grandkids behave, she loved to raise a garden and flowers and was a great baker.
She united in marriage to James R. “Dickie” Nunn September 27, 2014.
Besides her husband, James R. “Dickie” Nunn of Campbellsville, she is survived by her step-mother, Dollie Cox of Campbellsville; by five daughters: Debbie Bottoms and husband, Tom, Melissa Glass and husband, Larry, Bernice Ford, Bonnie Skaggs and husband, Chad, and Jan Tosh and husband Brian all of Campbellsville; a step-daughter, Jennifer Holmes and husband, Kevin of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren: Jeremiah Bottoms, Zach Bottoms and wife, Falesha, Jaclyn Bottoms, Ashley Pike and husband, Wade, Aaron Daffron, Cindy Wooldridge, Jacob Ford, Josh Ford, Brittany Beard and Brandon Skaggs; four great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters: Mac Cox, Doug Cox, Michael Cox, Kathy Jean Pelly and husband, Terry of Campbellsville and Cassie Brady of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lewis Lee Hardin son of the late Estil Lee Hardin and Idoma Goode Hardin was born December 20, 1933 in Adair County, Kentucky. He passed away peacefully Monday, April 22, 2019 at 9:15 P.M., after listening to old gospel tunes, some prayer and a lot of family love. Age: 85
He was a believer in Christ.
He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
He was a former employee of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Lewis struggled with Alzheimer’s for several years, and now he is at peace. Somehow, he handled the diagnosis and all the horrible effects with grace.
Some of his most favorite things were WILDCATS, family Rook games, big Hardin family reunions, camping on the riverbanks, FISHING, finding a good fishing hole, finding crazy worms to go fishing, talking about fishing, and frying fish for family and friends. He was kind of famous for his loud laughter, back-slapping hugs, love of dancing, and pitching children high into the air with them screaming, “do it again.” All his nieces and nephews (and there are a bunch, as Lewis was one of ten, including his twin sister!) still talk about the delight they felt when he was around. He loved playing with them almost as much as fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Mings Hardin of Campbellsville; one son and two daughters: Greg Hardin and wife, Pam of Columbia, Beverly Knifley of Campbellsville and Sherry Duffy and husband, Bill of Shepherdsville; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters: Carl Hardin and wife, Phyllis, Wanda Combest, Frances Hutchens, Ann Mills, Juanita Newman and Patsy Johnson and husband, Doug; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: William Hardin, Celestine Siers and Beulah Watson.
Words cannot convey the family’s appreciation for Bluegrass Assisted Living in Campbellsville and the Radcliff Veterans Home. He was loved and well cared for by many.

A Bloomfield resident, Ms. Elizabeth Ann Reynolds Seaton, age 64 passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born April 14, 1955 in Taylor County to the late Romey and Phyllis Ann Richerson Reynolds Sr. Ann was a nurse at Central State Hospital and in the NICU at University of Louisville Hospital, as well as Hospice, home health, and a travel nurse. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church where she founded the Care Core Ministry, was a Girl Scout Leader, a Therapeutic Foster Parent for over 20 years, a Louisville Zoo Docent, and volunteered for the Humane Society. Ann’s main goal in life was service to others.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie Seaton of Bloomfield, her son, Donald Martin of Mt. Washington, 3 sisters, Carrie (Ricky) Hahn of Bloomfield, Elaine (Jim) Mings of Zelienople, PA., Celia Pendleton of Campbellsville, her brother, Romey (Tina) Reynolds Jr. of Fort Thomas, and her grandson, Eli Martin. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family followed Ann’s wishes of cremation. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Bloomfield Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am until time of the service. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the Bloomfield Baptist Church Missions Fund or the American Diabetes Association. The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
