Mr. Ricky Lewis Patton of Campbellsville was born on June 9, 1960 to the late Joy Winifred and Doris Jean (Wood) Patton. He departed this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020 being 60 years, 3 months, and 17 days of age. Mr. Patton was a graduate of Campbellsville University, where he had earned his bachelor of science degree. He had originally planned to practice as a certified public accountant, but joined his father in the family business instead. A good-hearted man, he was an exceptional mechanic and, after the passing of his father, became the owner and operator of Pat’s Transmission Shop. Michael Hall, Sr., a lifelong resident of Campbellsville, son of the late
Michael Medley Hall, M.D. and Sarah Elizabeth Shively Hall, was born November
7, 1940 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He
died at 1:07 P.M., Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He
professed faith in Christ and was a lifetime member of Bethel First
Presbyterian Church where he had served as an elder..
Judge
Hall attended Campbellsville Independent School and graduated in May,
1958. He later attended the University
of Louisville and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in May, 1963 and the
University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where he obtained a Doctor of
Jurisprudence Degree in January, 1966.
He
began his private law practice on May 11, 1966 and later in January, 1967, entered
into practice with James C. Miller and became known as Miller & Hall,
Attorneys-At-Law.
Judge Hall was an attorney in Taylor County from January 1970 to January 1978. He then moved on to become the 11th Judicial District Judge from January 1978 to January 1984 and then transitioned into becoming the 11th Judicial District Circuit Judge from January 1984 until his retirement in January 1998.
He
was a member of the Elk Horn Pitman Masonic Lodge #124, the Kosair Shriners and
the Sons of America Revolution.
He united
in marriage to Lennie Imhoff August 8, 1958.
Besides
his wife, Lennie Imhoff Hall of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and
one daughter: Michelle Hall O’Rourke and
husband, Brian and William Michael Hall, Jr. and wife, Janean; four grandchildren: Fiaran M. Cox, Cooper Hall, Griffin Hall and
Truman Hall, one brother-in-law, Allen L. Burress all of Campbellsville; and
his little Schnauzer, Lucy, whom he loved so much; several nieces and nephews
and many other relatives and friends.
Judge
Hall was also preceded in death by two sisters:
Elizabeth Anne Hall Burress and Abby Hall Carter.

Mr. Gary Glenn Goodin of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. Son of the late Glenn Vilie and Ollie Alice (Roberts) Goodin, he was born on June 24, 1949 in Taylor County and was 71 years, 2 months, and 28 days of age. Mr. Goodin had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn United Methodist Church. He was a former truck driver and an employee of the Boco Station. He had served his community as a Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy lake patrolman, and served his country honorably in the National Guard. Mr. Goodin loved people and had a naturally helpful heart. He enjoyed keeping his yard neat and in order, and shared many laughs with his family over a plate of frog legs. Mrs. Linda Lou Alford of Campbellsville was born in Scottsville, KY on December 7, 1944 to Mazie (Wilkerson) Kettles and the late Ray Kettles. She departed this life on Saturday, September 19, 2020 being 75 years, 9 months, and 12 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. A sweet and loving lady, she was an exceptional homemaker; she enjoyed raising a garden and cooking and canning for her family. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1997 and spent the later part of her years attending her beloved Sunday School class. Mrs. Alford had a strong faith, and joyfully instilled in her children the love of God and church. She leaves to mourn her passing: Her husband: James L. Loretta
retired from Fruit of the Loom with over 40 years of service.
She
united in marriage to William T. “Bill” Sharp October 12, 1946 and he preceded
her in death June 17, 2000.
She
enjoyed working in her garden and flowers.
She was an outgoing person who never met a stranger.
Loretta
is survived by one son, Gary Sharp and wife, Mary Ann of Campbellsville; one
daughter-in-law, Sharon Sharp of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Shannon
Sharp and John Sharp and wife, Lindsey of Campbellsville, and Lisa Nelson and

Harvey Garrett of Campbellsville, son of the late Moses Garrett and Nellie Gunter Garrett, was born May 19, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:30 A.M., Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He told his wife, Diane, that he belonged to Jesus. Harvey played in several bands, including the New Beginnings Gospel group where they played for a couple of nursing homes.
Harvey was a farmer most of his life.
He was an avid coon hunter and always said, “all he needed for a good day, was a good coon dog and a shade tree”. He also mentioned about his dog being so good thanks to the best dog daycare services near me for achieving the support and best quality training.
Harvey united in marriage to Diane Mills Garrett June 1, 1972.
Besides his wife, Diane Garrett of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Doug Garrett and wife, Destine and Teresa Garrett of Campbellsville and Shelly Peterson and husband, Steven of Lebanon; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Lavern Wise of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Harvey was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Orberson and one brother and one sister: Sylvester Garrett and Fayola Kennedy.

Lucy Ann Garnett Walters, was born July 30, 1935 in Taylor County,
Kentucky. She died at 12:43 A.M., Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Louisville.
Age: 85
She
professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom after thirty years of service.
Barbara
united in marriage to Noel Wood October 6, 1962 and he preceded her in death
January 13, 1994.
She
later united in marriage to Stanley Pike February 14, 1997 and he preceded her
in death June 18, 1998.
She
was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center for approximately eight to 10
years. Barbara was considered a
wonderful mother and Granny by her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. She loved to go out
to eat, having fun and playing rook.
While
living at Bluegrass Way for several years, she made many good friends and
enjoyed some good times while there.
Barbara
is survived by one son and two daughters:
Tommy Peppers and Donna Benningfield of Campbellsville and Cindy Wood
Johnson of Charlestown, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Nashon Haskins, Maurice Haskins, Andrew Wood,
