Arnold Sallee of Campbellsville, son of the late Howett Sallee and Sarah Campbell Sallee was born May 21, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:01 P.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Spurlington United Methodist Church. He was also active with the United Methodist Men.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and a lifelong farmer. He especially enjoyed working in tobacco.
Arnold was a Christian man, loving husband, understanding father and the best Pa anyone could ask for.
He united in marriage to Lola Brown November 2, 1957. Besides his wife, Lola Sallee of Campbellsville; he is survived by three sons: Doug Sallee, Ricky Sallee and wife, Linda and Tony Sallee and wife, Lisa of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Chasity (Anthony) Shirley, Whitney (Edward) Sallee, Angela (Raleigh) Abbott, Derrick (Sara) Sallee, Christian Gage Sallee, Lily Sallee, Peggy (Murray) Webb, Blake (Nancy) Sallee; twelve great-grandchildren: Gavin, Jagger, Kingston, Lennon, Garrett, Aden, Leland, Ralpheigh, Ryleigh, Walker, Beckham, and an unborn baby girl, Vivienne; one brother, Leroy Sallee and wife, Betty of Gibson City, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters: Stanley Sallee, William Sallee, Willard Sallee, Louvenia Mardis, Dimple Skaggs, Marjory Sallee and Donna Murray.

Evelyn Fisher of Greensburg, daughter of the late June Sharp and Lora Milby Sharp, was born January 8, 1924, in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 9:50 P.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021, in Greensburg at the age of 97.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogard’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Silas Earl Fisher February 21, 1942. He preceded her in death June 8, 2008.
Evelyn is survived by one daughter and one son: Judy West and husband, Earl of Campbellsville, and Bobby Fisher of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Todd Fisher and wife, Debbie, and Rebecca Keeton and husband, David of Campbellsville, Michelle Phillips and husband, Stevie of Magnolia, and Patrick Wright and wife, Amanda of Cave City; eight great-grandchildren: Madison Fisher of Campbellsville, Kara Fisher of Russell Springs, Silas Taylor and Canaan Taylor of Magnolia, Derek Keeton of Campbellsville, Tanner Keeton of Tennessee, Brooklyn Wright and Caroline Wright of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Evelyn was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Dakota Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Fisher; three brothers and two sisters: Cecil Sharp, Raymond Sharp, Ed Sharp, Louise Atwell and Allene Hayes.

Mrs. Malicia Lynn Osborne, age 61, of Campbellsville passed from this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her home. She was born to the late Herman and Mayme Ella (Johnson) Shofner on January 8, 1960. Mrs. Osborne was a member of 3Trees Church in Columbia, and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She is survived by:
A daughter: Misty Brooke Roller and husband Kenny of Bardstown,
Two siblings: Doreda Price and husband Billy, and Virgil Shofner and wife Doris, all of Campbellsville,
A sister-in-law: Benita Shofner,
Three grandchildren: Kendall Roller, Brooklyn Roller and Kaden Roller.
Three nieces and nephew: Charity, Christopher, and Tabetha Shofner.
An uncle and aunt: Jessie and Edith Johnson and Lillie Skaggs.
And a host of other family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Herman Dorman Shofner; and and infant sister, Vera Shofner.
Mrs. Osborne chose cremation. Her ashes will be interred in the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in the Sandy Y Community of Taylor County.

Brian Franklin Harvey, Sr., of Greensburg, the son of the late Franklin Delano Harvey and Sylvia (Kozak) Barker, was born January 9, 1967 in Chicago and departed this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 54 years of age.
He was a farmer and of the Catholic Faith.
Brian enjoyed fishing, horses, cooking, working on trucks and tractors.
He is survived by ten children: Christina Harvey, Brian Harvey, Jr., Cody Harvey, Kaileigh Murley, Lastosha Marples and husband Todd, Ashley Burton and husband Shannon, Cody Burton, Donavon Burton and wife Lacy, Vanessa Peska and Richie Peska; nine brothers and sisters: Jimmy Wood, Johnny Wood and wife Cathy, Frank Harvey, Kathy Harvey, Marie Harvey and companion Adolphus Holland, Martha Harvey and companion Kevin Wall, Sherry Burgees and husband Phil, Barbara Bomia and companion Stan Jarczewshi and Dawn Jeffries.
Also surviving are twenty-five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Brian Franklin Harvey, Sr. will be conducted Monday, September 13, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Bro. Chris Clark will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 11 A.M. Monday until time for the service.

Ruth W. Phillips of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie James Mills and Ruby Christine Bledsoe Mills, was born March 3, 1935 in Clinton County, Kentucky. She died at 4:00 P.M., Monday, September 6, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Ruth was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She had a a genuine love for people and found great joy in serving others during her 20+ years with Campbellsville Retirement Home.
She united in marriage to George Rieman Phillips July 14, 1952 and he preceded her in death September 25, 1984.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Gary Phillips and wife, Tammy and Shirley Phillips of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Tyler Phillips and wife, Tracey and Chase Yates of Campbellsville, Garrett Phillips of Tampa, Florida and Brandon Phillips and wife, Abby of Bowling Green; three great-grandchildren: Chazilyn Milby, Cole Phillips and Mason Phillips; one brother, Glenn Mills of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Ricky Lee Allen of Campbellsville, was born April 6, 1976 in Casey County, KY to the late Eulis Mark and Eunice (Clements) Allen and departed this life on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin Hospital. He was 45 years of age.
He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his children, he was an avid UK fan and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include the mother of his children: Natasha Renee Allen; four children: Breanna Allen, Leah Allen Brianna Allen and Kimberly Hoover, his cousin Robbie Pittman and wife Tracy and their children: James, Donovan and Austin; special friend: Chris Waymon and a host of other relatives and friends.

Marla was a retired employee of Taylor County School Systems.
She united in marriage to Mel Gilbert February 20, 1981 and he preceded her in death January 25, 2018.

Marsha Ann Arnett of Campbellsville, the daughter of Joyce (Herron) Hartman of Campbellsville and the late Jack Hartman, was born June 26, 1965 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Monday, August 30, 2021 in New Albany, Indiana at the Baptist Health Hospital. She was 56 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the God’s Friendship Church in Campbellsville.
Marsha enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, fishing and her family, especially her granddaughter.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband: James Terry Arnett; a daughter: Ashley Tompkins and husband Travis; two sons: Justin Wood and Landon Arnett all of Campbellsville; a brother: Gary Hartman and wife Pam of Knoxville; a sister: Donna Hammond of Campbellsville; a granddaughter: Aleeah Tompkins of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Millie Lee Parker, daughter of the late Harrison and Ruth (Bryant) Richardson, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on November 6, 1944, she was 76 years, 10 months, and 1 day of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Parker was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, and a current employee of Taylor County Primary School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Douglas Leon Parker, on July 28, 1998.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
A daughter: Melinda DeSpain of Campbellsville,
Two siblings: Stella Thompson and husband Donnie, and Johnny Ernest Richardson, all of Campbellsville,
A granddaughter: MaKenzie Ann DeSpain of Campbellsville,

Mrs. Parker will be laid to rest beside her late husband in the Brookside Cemetery. At her request, all services will be conducted privately.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Faith Covenant Ministries.
She united in marriage to Rev. Charles “Lanny” Whitley April 22, 2004. He preceded her in death April 30, 2019.
Diane is survived by two step-daughters: Rebecca “Becky” Whitley of Versailles and Melissa Hunter of Louisville; four step-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers: Darlene Robinson and husband, Roy of Woodbridge, Virginia, James Douglas Robinson and wife, Liz, David Michael Robinson and wife, Kim and Eugene Robinson and wife, Mary of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Sharalyn Whitley June 28, 2019.
