Mr. James David “Jimmy” Wilson of Campbellsville was born on November 19, 1958 to David and Leora (Halcomb) Wilson. He departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, being 58 years, 8 months, and 26 days of age. He was a long time employee of the Kentucky Trailer Company in Louisville where he worked in the paintshop and was a member of the Levelwood United Methodist Church. Mr. Wilson was a family man; he enjoyed spending time with those he loved and making everyone smile.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Three children: Troy Wilson of Greensburg, Nikki Wilson of Campbellsville, and Heather Wilson of Campbellsville,
His parents: David and Leora Wilson of Campbellsville,
One sister and one brother: Kathy Clark and husband Barry, and Danny Wilson and wife Diane, all of Campbellsville,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilson on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Montgomery Mill Rd, Summersville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 16, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).

Marie White of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ford Phillips and Isabelle Bright Phillips, was born November 9, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:00 A.M., Sunday, August 13, 2017 in Columbia. Age: 83
Marie was a retired bus driver for the Taylor County School System and a former bus driver for Adanta.
She united in marriage to J. D. White December 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death February 18, 2012.
She is survived by four sons and one daughter: Willie White and wife, Donna of Columbia, Curt White and wife, Nancy of Campbellsville, Roger White and wife, Kellie of Burgin, Robbie White and wife, Faye of Kannapolis, North Carolina and Mary Fudge and husband, Jim of Lexington; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Spurlington United Methodist Church.
Larry was a salesman with Whayne Supply.
He united in marriage to Donna Smothers October 16, 2014.

Mr. Philip Ray Clark of Campbellsville was born on October 22, 1955 in Greensburg to the late Williard M. and Lillian (Phillips) Clark. He departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Clark professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. Alongside his wife, he was the co-owner of Swan’s Landing Catering and Event Company, and enjoyed the hard work it entailed. He had a passion for everything outdoors, and loved camping, hunting, fishing with Tailored Tackle equipment, four-wheeling, and playing darts or ping pong, and loved keeping his yard well-groomed and organized.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife: Linda (Hughes) Clark of Campbellsville,
Two step-children: Tim Ellis and wife Alice of Elizabethtown, and Sherri Botkin and husband Geoff of Campbellsville,
A sister: Rita Ward and husband Barry of Greensburg,

Margarita Wheeler Thomas, daughter of the late Charles Roscoe Wheeler and Nancy Boyd Lunsford Wheeler, was born May 24, 1941 in Estill County, Kentucky. She died at her home in Lexington on August 6, 2017. Age: 76
She was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Northview Baptist Church in Lexington.
She united in marriage to Clyde Thomas who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Billy Dabney of Mannsville; three nieces and two nephews: Ann Dabney, Neil Dabney and wife, Jaclyn, Melinda Howard and husband, Coy, Mary Wheeler and Clay Wheeler and wife, Heather; six great-nephews: Hayden, Noah and Reid Dabney, Jacob and Derek Howard, and Elias Wheeler and one great-niece, Matilyn Wheeler and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Wheeler.
Her ashes will be interred in the Lunsford Family Cemetery in Estill County at a later date.

Rev. Carlis Compton of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest Compton and Ora Pearl Tucker Compton, was born March 28, 1932 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 9:30 P.M., Monday, August 7, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 85
He professed faith in Christ early in life, accepting God’s call to ministry in 1953 and was ordained at Friendship Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. During his sixty-four years of full-time ministry, he has served at the following churches: Coral Ridge in Louisville, Kentucky; Oak Grove, Liberty, Macedonia, Fry, Trammell Creek, South Greensburg and Green Hill, all in Green County, Kentucky; Munfordville in Hart County, Kentucky; Mt. Tabor in Larue County, Kentucky; Zion, Pleasant Hill and Liberty in Taylor County, Kentucky. In addition to pastoring, he served as President of the Green and Larue County Ministerial Associations, along with various other associational positions, including moderator, executive board member, director of stewardship and youth and chairman of evangelism.
Bro. Compton united in marriage to Marie Gentry September 6, 1950.
Besides his wife, Marie Compton of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Sandy Judd and husband, Jim of Henderson, Kentucky and Debbie Underwood and husband, Chuck of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Christy Baxter and husband, Jeremy of Henderson, Kentucky, Nick Underwood and companion, Megan Milby of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Emily Mushlock and husband, Josh of Darmstadt, Indiana; eleven great-grandchildren: Blake Middleton, Lyric Underwood, Kaleb Underwood, Bailee Willis and Brystol Underwood of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Judson Baxter and Natalie Baxter of Henderson, Kentucky, Preston Mushlock, Evie Mushlock, Mia Mushlock and Case Mushlock of Darmstadt, Indiana; two brothers: Adolphus “Dot” Compton and wife, Barbara of Louisville, Kentucky and Duard Compton and wife, Esther of Greensburg, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law: Betty Compton and Linda Slayton of Louisville, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Byron Douglas “Doug” England of Bedford, son of Marjorie Hovious England and the late Ira England, Jr., was born March 22, 1956 in LaSalle County, Illinois. He died at 10:50 P.M., Monday, July 31, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 61
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Doug retired from the United States Navy where he served his country honorable for over twenty years as a Missile System Technician and an instructor. During his career he was awarded numerous ribbons, medals and commendations including: three Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, five Good Conduct Awards, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, two Navy Achievement Medals, three Navy “E” Ribbons, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Expert Rifleman Medal, Pistol Shot Medal, National Defense Service Medal, US Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, two Meritorious Unit Commendations and the NATO Medal.
He was a long time Boy Scout Leader and was very devoted to his sons.
Doug is survived by two sons: Robbie England and Roger England of Greenville, South Carolina; his mother, Marjorie England; one brother, Gary England and wife, Diane and one sister-in-law, Sandy England of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Perry England, September 29, 1991.

Gary Foster of Campbellsville, son of Ina Lee Owens Foster and the late James Edward Foster, was born March 9, 1948, in McCreary County, Kentucky. He died at 7:45 A.M., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 69
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was a graduate of Mt. Washington High School in 1966; attended Lindsey Wilson College and Campbellsville College in 1986.
Gary was a retired minister and former principal at Kentucky
Christian Schools.
He united in marriage to Diann Wade August 25, 1968.
Gary was a loving foster parent, son, father, brother and friend.
Besides his wife, Diann Foster of Campbellsville, he is survived by four sons and two daughters: Patrick Foster and wife, Esther and Penni Prates and husband, David of Louisville, Philip Foster and wife, Amanda of Hebron, Peter-John Foster and Paul Foster of Campbellsville and Patricia Brown and boyfriend, Tony Johnson of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren: David Foster fiancée, Moriah Haurigan, Marquis Johnson, Rachael Brown, Joshua Brown, Kristina Foster, Danielle Foster, Gabrielle Foster, Derrick Foster and Emily Prates; one great-granddaughter, Analeigh Foster; his mother, Ina Lee Foster of Mt. Marita loved quilting as a hobby and enjoyed giving the quilts to family and friends. She also loved spending time with her family.
She united in marriage to Harvey D. Warren who preceded her in death. She later united in marriage to Irvin Wright.
Besides her husband, Irvin Wright of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Michael Warren and wife, Deborah of Savannah, Georgia and Terri Richerson and husband, Sam of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Rachael Kelly Warren, Elaine Casey Warren, Victoria Kendall Warren, Kevin Richerson and companion, Lisa Kearnes, Tiffany Richerson and companion, Jacob Covin and David Richerson; one great-granddaughter, Presley Covin; one sister, Margaret Meers of Gibson City, Illinois;

Mildred Gray, 81 years, 6 months and 29 days of age, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Campbellsville Health and Rehabilitation Center where she had resided for twelve years.
She was born in Adair County on January 2, 1936 to the late Wilbur and Iverne Williams Bault. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Gray, a daughter, Cathy Gray, a brother, Ivan Bault, a half-sister, Debbie Bault and a half-brother, Kenny Bault.
Mildred was a member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She loved caring for others, was a very good cook and enjoyed quilting.
Mildred is survived by two daughters, Donna Sprowles and her husband, Keith of Campbellsville and Elaine Chesser of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Amy Knifley and her husband, Lyle, of Campbellsville and Randall Chesser of Marion County, three great-grandchildren, Aleah, Aubreigh and Lance Knifley; a sister, Sharon Ford and her husband, Raymond of Campbellsville and a half-brother, DeWayne Bault and his wife, Brenda of Campbellsville.
Funeral services for Mildred Gray will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. James Collison officiating. Burial will follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Serving as casket bearers will be Darian Gray, Lyle Knifley, Craig Ford, Terry Roberts, Sam Harper and Ronnie Curry.
The family requests visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 3rd, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
