Cox, age 35, of Anna Court Campbellsville, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his residence.He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Cox.He is survived by his mother, Wilma Cox Sluder, of Campbellsville, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Patty Cox of Louisville, Timothy and Bucky Sluder of Campbellsville, one sister and brother-in-law, Cary and Mark Jenkins of Florida.Funeral services for Henry K. Esther Whitehead of Anna Court, Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Frederick Rham and Susie Margaret Collins Rham was born February 14, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio. She died at 9:09 A.M. Tuesday,June 28, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters and two sons: Faye Snow LaFever of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Doris Jean Anderson, Suzanne Dickens and Carol Porter of Campbellsville, Darlene Ferrell of Liberty, James Obie Whitehead of Lebanon and Bobby Neal Whitehead of Louisville; nine grandchildren: ten great-grandchildren: many other relatives and friends. Forest O. Bland of North Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Alonza Bland and Eliza Breeding Bland was born in Iowa, December 5, 1905. He died at 4:10 P.M., Friday, July 1, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 99 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He united in marriage to Altha Newton January 27, 1923. They were married for some eighty-two years.Besides his wife, Altha Bland of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Ruth Meadows and her husband, J. D. of Campbellsville, Frances Shofner of Shively, and Ralph Bland of Valley Station; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren- fifteen great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers: Carrie Carroll, Leo Moorehouse, Mary Bland, Odell Bland, and Owen Bland. Geneva Tucker Phillips of Harned, Kentucky, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George E. Tucker and Eliza Phillips Tucker was born September 28, 1916 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2005 in Brandenburg.Age: 88 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mannsville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Mannsville Homemakers. She was a 1935 graduate of Campbellsville High School. She moved to Indianapolis in 1945 where she worked with a group of citizens to help organize and establish the Southside Morris Street Health Center. She served as a board member for the health center until she retired from her job as manager of West Morris Street Shoe and Sports Store and moved back to Taylor County in 1980.She united in marriage to Harold Phillips May 3, 1935. He preceded her in death July 28, 2003. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sarita and Frank Reams of Harned; one granddaughter, Dreama Reams of Louisville; two sisters, Hazel Lacy of Campbellsville and Grace Knuckles of Beech Grove, Indiana; three nephews and one niece: Phillip Lacy of Louisville, Paul Lacy of Campbellsville, Ronald Knuckles of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Evelyn Alexander of Pomona, California, and many other relatives and friends. He united in marriage to Burna Huskey August 26, 1950. She preceded him in death October 9, 1987.He united in marriage to Imogene Claunch March 23, 1994. She preceded him in death May 23, 2005.
