Naomi Oleda Curry of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Clifford Franklin McDaniel, Sr. and Bertha E. Chappel McDaniel, was born September 6, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:02 P.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville First Church of God.
She was a retired teacher and librarian with the Campbellsville Independent School System.
She united in marriage to Leon Hadley April 5, 1947. He preceded her in death August 12, 1968.
She united in marriage to Howard W. Curry December 2, 1978. He preceded her in death March 16, 2008.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Ronnie Hadley and wife, Janice of Campbellsville, Gary Hadley and wife, Sue of Knifley, Joanetta Hadley and Marilyn Martin and husband, Scott of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Melissa Shelton and husband, Greg, Jason Hadley and wife, Christee, Patrick Phillippe, Jaclyn Rakel, Kyle Martin and fiancée, Brittany Eubank, and Emily Hadley; seven great-grandchildren: Joshua Shelton, Karlee Rakel, Liliana Prokup, Micah Prokup, Tobias Hadley, Elias Hadley and Iris Hadley; one brother and one sister: Clifford McDaniel, Jr. and wife, Ernestine of Anderson, Indiana and Bonnie Perkins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lois June Phillippe and five brothers and one sister: Charles McDaniel, Cecil McDaniel, Hack McDaniel, Wesley McDaniel, John McDaniel and Sylvetta Williams.

Shirley Lee Willis Warren, age 78

Shirley Lee Willis Warren, age 78, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Shirley was born July 10, 1936 in Taylor County, KY and retired from Union Underwear.  She preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Martin Warren and a sister, Gladys Bright.

She is survived by son, Connel Willis, Jr., Clarkson, KY;  three daughters, Judith May Geron, Campbellsville, KY;  Joyce Ann Black and her husband Aemmer of Minnesota and  Deborah Overstreet, and her husband, Rod of Campbellsville; a step son, Dwight Gene Warren, of Campbellsville; three sisters, Geneva Routin, and her husband, Wilkie, of Jeffersonville, IN;  Betty Parker, and her husband, Alan and  Esther Cox, of Campbellsville, 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, 1 Step-granddaughter, 2 Step-great granddaughters.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, July 11 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY with Rev. Scott LaDue officiating.  Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

The family requests visitation on Friday, July 10 from 4-8 pm and Saturday, July 11 after 8 a.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Walter Gene Hash, 83

Hash PicMr. Walter Gene Hash, the son of the late Howard and Eva Milby Hash, was born July 4, 1932 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Louisville at the St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was 83 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church in Taylor County. He was a former mechanic, he loved race cars, watching nascar racing, fishing and scratchoff lottery tickets.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons: Sheila Blevins and husband Chuck and Christina Hash, Todd Hash and Tony Hash and wife Tina all of Louisville; a sister: Rita Hash Durrett and husband Donald of Summersville; a brother: Dennis Hash and wife Connie of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Michael Douglas Hash in 1965, three brothers: Russell, Butch and his twin brother Tommie Gene Hash and two sisters: Lucille and Lillian Hash.

The funeral service for Mr. Walter Gene Hash, will be conducted Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Zion Cemetery. Rev. Ronda Arnett will be officiating.
