Betty Jewell Gaddie Hinton

Betty Jewell Gaddie Hinton of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Waller Aylett “Bud” Gaddie and Bettie Smith Gaddie, was born March 7, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky.   She died at 1:43 A.M., Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Campbellsville.     Age: 90

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Betty was a retired employee of Taylor County Bank after forty-two years of service.

She united in marriage to Bobby Hinton August 20, 1960 and he preceded her in death November 14, 2009.

Betty loved having bright flowers on her patio.  She was concerned about others and always kept a prayer list.

She is survived by one son, James Robert Hinton and wife, Sandra of Campbellsville; one step-daughter, Galene Eastridge and husband, Don Childers of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren:  Megan Fields and husband, James, Shay Graybeal and husband, Wes, Jason McGinnis and wife, Ashley, Donnie Brockman, Timmy Curry and Troy Curry of Campbellsville, Jennifer Johnson and husband, Larry of Versailles, Brian Childers and wife, Rachel and Sean Childers and wife, Bobbie of Idaho; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ina Edwards and husband, Joey of Horse Cave; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Deborah Harris and one brother and one sister:  Bobby Gaddie and Peggy Litton.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Greg Lockhart and Rev. Mark Price

Rebecca “Pat” Jones

Rebecca “Pat” Jones of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Deboe Granger and Helen Louise Pigott Granger, was born August 26, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio.  She died at 6:07 A.M., Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Campbellsville.     Age: 76

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

Pat was a former employee of Walmart for more than fourteen years.

She united in marriage to J. D. Jones June 9, 1970.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was also a loving second mother to many.

Besides her husband, J. D. Jones of Campbellsville, Pat is survived by two daughters:

Tonya Jones (Scott) of Mt. Washington and Jennifer Hale (Travis) of Campbellsville;

seven grandchildren: Cynthia Ashley of Campbellsville, Mary Brower of Elizabethtown, Brooke Ortiz (Eddie) of Tompkinsville, Zoe Panchal (Mannie) of Mt. Washington, Peyton Harrison of Campbellsville and Gillian and Maggie Hale of Berea; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters:  Sandy Creel of Louisiana and Janie Weber (Stephen) of Sharpsburg, Ky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Pat was also preceded in death by a son, Carl Thomas Jones, a daughter, Donna Shores and a brother, Rocky Granger.

Diann Marie Garrett

Diann Marie Garrett of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Billy Ray and Ruby Marie (Fisher) Sallee, was born March 19, 1956, in Marion County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 69 years of age.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Bradfordsville Baptist Church.

Diann enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: George Ray Sallee.

Survivors include a son, Brandon Garrett, and wife Amber of Campbellsville; a sister, Barbara Thompson, and companion Ron Gaither of Lebanon.

Also four grandchildren: Chloe Shively and husband Jastyn, Logan Garrett, and Tayshaun Hickman, all of Campbellsville, and Madison Garrett of Lebanon, and a host of nieces and nephews, including Brooklynn Thompson, Makayla Freeman, Tabitha Wren, Justin Lawson, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Diann Marie Garrett chose cremation, and NO services are scheduled at this time.

L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville is in charge of arrangements.
