Mr. Channie Darrell Osborne of Campbellsville was born in Knifley on May 12, 1942 to the late Wildy and Jenny Mae Osborne. He departed this life on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 80 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Church of God. Mr. Osborne spent 27 years at the Fruit of the Loom plant, only retiring at the plant’s closure. He loved to tinker with small engines and had a knack for bringing so-called “junk” back to life. On September 3, 1960, he united in marriage to the love of his life, Ms. Jane Arden Richerson, and they remained a devoted couple until his passing. His love and devotion for his family will be the keystone of every memory shared for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife of 62 years: Mrs. Jane Osborne,
Three children: Connie Thompson, Ricky Darrell Osborne and wife Cindy, and Shelly Douglas and husband Richard, all of Campbellsville,
A brother-in-law: Ralph Lemmon of Campbellsville,
Six grandchildren: Charlie Thompson, Jr. and wife Chasidy, Matthew Thompson, Levi Osborne and wife Hannah, Isaac Osborne and his girlfriend Gabby Coomer, Morgan Douglas, and Madison Douglas,
Four great-grandchildren: Colton, Foster, Chloe, and Charlie Baerose Thompson,
Close friends: Jimmy Garner, Garland Skaggs, and Ronnie Woods,
And a host of extended family and friends.
Besides his parents and eight siblings, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Thompson.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Osborne on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville. Bro. Evan Tedder and Bro. David Boils will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harden Cemetery, Hwy 76.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 10:00 AM EST (9:00 AM CST) until time for the service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Campbellsville First Church of God or Gideon Bibles. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Linda Daniels Ogelvie of Campbellsville, daughter of Loretta Whitaker Daniels and the late Conley Daniels, was born March 6, 1953 in Perry County, Kentucky. She died at 11:07 A.M., Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Louisville. Age: 69
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Linda was a retired registered nurse. She was hard worker and loved to travel, especially with her nursing career.
She united in marriage to Harold Dean Ogelvie August 6, 1981 and he preceded her in death September 14, 2003.
Linda was a very loving person. She took care of family and always looked out for her kids and grandkids.
Linda is survived by one son and one daughter: Jeremiah Ogelvie and Lisa Harris and husband, John of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: McKayla Nichole Ogelvie, Timothy Harold Ogelvie and wife, Amber, Trenton Harris, Tristian Harris and Justin Michael Hansford; three great-grandchildren: Railynn Ogelvie, Sofia Hardin and Serenity Hansford; her mother, Loretta Daniels of Happy, Kentucky; one niece, Amanda Burd of Munfordville; special friend, Karen Hagar of Elizabethtown and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four sisters: Rita Mullins, Donna Faye Bennett, Connie Jo Daniels and Mary Daniels.

H.L. Foster III, of Campbellsville the son of the late Henry L. Foster II and Jane Elizabeth (Davis) Foster, was born December 13, 1946 in Greensburg and departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin. He was 75 years of age
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church and was retired insurance agent and was the former owner and operator of Fast Mart in Campbellsville.
H.L. enjoyed golf, meeting with friends at the American Legion, but most of all, spending time with family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former spouse: Paula Blanton Foster.
Survivors include a daughter: Katie Moss and husband Tracy of Campbellsville; two brothers: Gerald Foster and wife Gail of Campbellsville and Roger Foster of Brooksville, Florida.
Also two grandchildren: Tyler Moss and wife Shelby and Lauren Moss; four great-grandchildren: Evie and Indi Durrett and Jake and Heidi Moss, all of Campbellsville; a niece and nephew: Lane Foster and wife Erin of Georgia and Lacy Rodriguez and husband Mike of Campbellsville and a host of friends.
There will be a public visitation on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2-5 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with a PRIVATE graveside service at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Justin Dewell, the pastor of the Campbellsville Christian Church will be officiating.
