Ora Lee Deener Morris of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John William Deener and Willie Sullivan Deener, was born February 2, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:25 P.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 97
She professed faith in Christ at age 12 and was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was a retired co-owner of Morris Carpet Store in Campbellsville that she and her husband founded.
Ora Lee united in marriage to Leslie Morris September 13, 1942 and he preceded her in death November 9, 1987.
She is survived by two sons: Gerald Morris and wife, Teresa of Campbellsville and Rev. Danny Morris and wife, Joyce of Lakeland, Florida; three grandchildren: Christy Morris of Campbellsville, Lisa Morris Yates and husband, Steve of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Dan Morris of Yulee, Florida; six great-grandchildren: Jessica Morris, Gabriel Morris, Abigail Morris, James Yates and wife, Nica, Raymond Yates and wife, Madelyn, and Lauren Yates Kling and husband, Zachary; two great-great-grandchildren; Mirah Yates and Theo Yates; and expecting twin great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Colby Deener and wife, Gloria of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Walter Deener, Robert “Bob” Deener, James Deener, Lillian Richerson, Dorothy Kessler, and Mae Wayne.

Mrs. Sandra Kay Dyer Spears, age 67, of Breeding, KY, with her unfaltering faith in God and her family by her side, lost her long battle with cancer and departed this life on Thursday, November 25, 2021.
A native of Adair County, she was born on February 21, 1954 to the late Herman Dyer and Cassie Lou Riley Dyer of Breeding.
Sandra was a retired factory worker, having spent most of her life working in clothing manufacturing and taking care of her family.
Sandra leaves to honor her memory:
Three children: Robert L. Parmley (Sarah) of Glasgow, Diana K. Sneed (Ronald) of Edmonton, and Faye A. Eastridge (Greg) of Knifley,
Grandchildren: Randall Parmley, Kimberly Parmley, Jacob Parmley, William Sneed, Elizabeth McGuffin, Mary Cassidy Eastridge, and Nathan Eastridge,
One great-grandchild: Braxton Gillen,
A sister: Nancy Groce (Bruce) of Burkesville,
Two brothers: Roger Dyer (Donna) of Breeding, and Larry Dyer (Jane) of Burkesville,
And a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Cassie Dyer; her sisters: Eva May Thrasher (Kenneth), Martha Jane York (Darnell), and Joyce Marie Farlee (Wade); her brothers: Homer Dyer, William H. Dyer, Johnny Ralph Dyer, and Mervin L. Dyer, and Donnie K. Dyer.
There will be a funeral service to honor her life on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Brian Fudge will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Breeding.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 28, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).
Randall Parmley, Jacob Parmley, William Sneed, Nathan Eastridge, Greg Eastridge, and Ronald Sneed will serve as pallbearers. Elizabeth McGuffin, Kimberley Parmley, and Cassidy Eastridge will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Dorothy Pierce of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Spratt and Annie Ermine Skaggs Spratt, was born May 4, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a retired teacher’s aid with the Taylor County School System. Dorothy was also a former volunteer with the Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary for more than thirty years and loved to travel at every opportunity.
Dorothy united in marriage to Bill Pierce December 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death January 21, 2000.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Johnny Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two grandsons: Tommy Grammer and wife, Corday Rice of Arlington, Washington and Robbie Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one great-granddaughter, Lilli Grammer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; special cousin who was like a sister, Mary Helen Sprowles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Louise Pierce April 28, 1978 and a brother, Glenn Spratt.
