Nadean Willis

Nadean Willis of Campbellsville, daughter of the late E.W. Quinn and Bonnie Hazel Davis Quinn, was born March 11, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 10:58 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Louisville.   Age:  85

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.

Nadean was a very loving person, especially with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with her family was her greatest passion. Nadean also loved her animals very much.

She united in marriage to Dean Willis and he preceded her in death August 21, 2010.

Nadean is survived by one son and one daughter: Mark Willis and wife, Shirley of Allensville and Julie Smith and husband, David of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Kyle Smith and wife, Robin, Scarlett Willis and Cody Smith; two great-grandchildren: Robby Smith and Kyler Smith; two sisters: Lura Glidewell and Jean French; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Quinn.

LaVerne Rhodes

LaVerne Rhodes of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Omer Williams and Willard Logan Williams, was born February 21, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died Friday, June 24, 2022 in Campbellsville.   Age:  86

LaVerne was a Christian woman and was baptized in Green River when she was eleven. As a child, she joined Pikes Ridge Baptist Church and later joined Green River Memorial Baptist Church where she remained a member until the time of her passing.

LaVerne worked for four years at the ASC office, Union Underwear for twenty years, Kentucky Governor Louie B. Nunn Safety Department and worked her last eight years before retirement in the office of the Taylor County High School.

She united in marriage to Walter D. Rhodes April 4, 1969.

Besides her husband, Walter Rhodes of Campbellsville, LaVerne is survived by fourteen nieces and nephews: Patricia Pierce, Richard Williams, Judy McCormack, Ronnie Hearon, Diana Gordon, Sheila Walsh, Ronda Maxwell, Peggy Strawder, Donna Harlow, Randy McCubbin, Greg McCubbin, John McCubbin, Butch Shive and Doug Shive; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by five siblings: Christine Shive, Barbara Hearon, John Richard Williams, Geneva McCubbin and Golden Williams and one niece, Lana Martin.

BRANDON RAY LITTLE OBITUARY

Brandon Ray Little, 42, of Liberty, Kentucky, son of Leonard Arthur Little Sr., and Sandra Thichava Little, of Liberty, was born November 13th, 1980, in Canton, Illinois, and departed this life on June 20th, 2022.

He professed his faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith and attended Mt. Salem Baptist Church. Brandon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, boyfriend, and friend.

Besides his parents Brandon is survived by:

Two brothers: Kevin Timothy Little, and his wife, Tonia, of Liberty; and Leonard Arthur Little Jr, of Liberty.

Direct cremation was chosen by the family.  Auberry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
