Lynnwood Benngfield of Greensburg, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Sam Benningfield and Mollie Thompson Benningfield, was born July 21, 1955 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:35 A.M., Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Danville. Age: 66
Lynnwood had a strong faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He loved to ride in the golf cart taking in nature with the beloved family dog (Rowdy), listening to music and taking pictures with his loved ones, as well as sharing memories of his childhood. Lynwood was a gentle, kind person who touched the lives of others, and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his caretakers, Junior and Valerie Posey Pierce of Greensburg; his buddy, Shelly Dennison and a host of friends.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings; a beloved Aunt Myrtle Morris and friend. Bob Harding.

Mrs. Cheryl D. Watson Corbin of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital after an illness. Born on November 12, 1966, she was 55 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Corbin was a former employee of the bleach house at Fruit of the Loom, and a loving and devoted friend and daughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her parents: John Ray and Regina Parker of Campbellsville,
Her companion: Tim Baumgardner,
Three siblings: Chris Parker and wife Billie of Campbellsville, Johnnie Lewis Parker of Elk Horn, and William Logan Parker of Bowling Green,
Nieces: Marina Parker, Emory Parker, and Makayla Cecil,
And a host of extended family and friends.
She was also “Sissy Cheryl” to several other chosen nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Corbin was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Michelle Watson.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Corbin on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro’s Alex Cox and Dickie Rogers will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Tom Tungate, Jeremy Mings, Robert Campbell, Wayne Watson, Trent Watson, Tony Mings, Ben Hamilton, and Mike Squires will serve as pallbearers.

Phillip Garnett Burris of Campbellsville, the son of the late Garnett and Donna (Hamilton) Burris was born June 15, 1953 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Louisville at the Norton Women and Children’s Hospital. He was 68 years of age.
He was an employee of Manchester Tank as a forklift operator, the owner of Do Dat Mowing in Campbellsville and attended the 3Trees Church.
Phillip enjoyed camping, and training his five Chihuahuas to howl to famous TV commercials. Techie Camper has all the experience and trusted information on camping for beginners.
Survivors include his wife: Darlene (Compton) Burris of Campbellsville, Two sons: Anthony Burris of Campbellsville and Shannon Burris and wife Ranita of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren: Hope, Alize, Chloe, Zoe and Sarah; a sister-in-law: Janet Mills and wife Steve of Campbellsville; a brother: Todd Burris and wife Theresa and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
The funeral service for Phillip Garnett Burris will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Ron Blair will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
