Margaret Lee Wheatley

Margaret Lee Wheatley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Herbert Lee and Emma Newcome Lee, was born May 21, 1938 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 6:34 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Margaret cherished her family and grandchildren and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She united in marriage to Donald Wheatley, Sr. June 9, 1956 and he preceded her in death October 22, 2017.
Margaret is survived by four sons and one daughter: Barry Wheatley and wife, Sue Ann, Kevin Wheatley and wife, Donna, Don Wheatley, Jr. and wife, Penny, Lisa Davis and husband, Terry of Campbellsville and Michael Wheatley and wife, Beverly of Princeton; nine grandchildren: Ashley Jones and husband, Daniel of Princeton, Kristin Wheatley, Alex Davis and fiancee’, Nathan Cox, Abby Davis, Brennan Wheatley, Caden Wheatley and wife, MaKayla and Blase Wheatley of Campbellsville, Brooke Rauch and husband, Andrew and Seth Wheatley and fiancée, Curstain Lopez of Lexington; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth Wheatley and two brothers and one sister: Joseph Howard Lee, J. L. Lee and Nora Symmers.

June Hansen

June Hansen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ethel McInroy Cutler and Stanley D. Cutler, was born September 24, 1936 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She died at 7:28 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Danville. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
June worked as a secretary most of her life. She was a devoted child of God and always made sure her family knew the plan of salvation. She was the strong power house of her family and was cherished by them. June loved her church family and was a kind and caring person who was admired by the people she was around. A favorite pastime was going to thrift shops and sales.
She is survived by two daughters: Linnette Atwood and husband, Brent of Liberty and Tonya Stapleton of Columbia; five grandchildren: Shannon Hansen, Kari Nueman, LaTina Coombs, Keisha Gilpin and Shawn Meeks; eleven great-grandchildren: Haley Hansen, Shayla Hansen, Kristen Hansen, Dasha Nueman, Richard Coombs, Nicole Coombs, Noelle Coombs, Payton Belton, Camdon Meeks, E. J. Gilpin, and Keinein Gilpin and two great-great-grandchildren: Ainsley Skaggs and Conner Coombs; one brother, Pastor Bob Cutler and wife, Sue; one sister, Jean Bolhuis of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, LaRita Nueman October 30, 2013 and two sisters: Pat Preece and Zelma Limkeman.

Ethel Nimmie, 104

Mrs. Ethel (Cline) Nimmie of Campbellsville was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on August 29, 1917 to the late James and Amanda (Mullins) Cline. She departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at her home, being 104 years, 7 months, and 16 days of age. She was a professed Christian. Mrs. Nimmie was the devoted wife of Mr. Samuel Nimmie, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by two children: Daniel Nimmie, Sr. and Samuel Nimmie, Jr.; and six siblings: Lloyd, Wade, Drusilla, Marcella, Alberta, and Leota; and a granddaughter: Eleanor Keith.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Five grandchildren: Rebecca Swain and husband Gary of Michigan, Curtis Nimmie, Daniel Nimmie and wife Lesa of Campbellsville, Brandy Lobb and husband Mike of Campbellsville, and Carmen Combs of Louisville,

Thirteen great-grandchildren,

Nineteen great-great grandchildren,

Four great-great-great grandchildren,

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Nimmie had requested cremation. Those arrangements were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. There was no public visitation.
