Christine Blankenship Rogers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Owen Blankenship and Anabelle Arvin Blankenship, was born July 7, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:12 A.M., Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She
professed faith in Christ and was a member of Millers Chapel United Methodist
Church.
Christine
was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and had also
worked several years at Roger’s Foodland.
She
united in marriage to Clay M. Rogers April 9, 1955.
Besides
her husband, Clay M. Rogers of Campbellsville, she is survived by a daughter,
Pam Rogers of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other
relatives and friends.
Christine was also preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters: Eugene Blankenship, J. C. Blankenship, Geneva Brown, Beulah Bright, Lois Burris, Nan Wettrick, Thelma Marlow, Vera Williams and Ruby Blankenship.

John Michael Ferriell, of Campbellsville, the son of the late John Alfonso and Monica (Hinton) Ferriell, was born December 9, 1946 in Louisville and departed this life on October 6, 2020 in Louisville at the Signature Health Care Rockford. He was 73 years of age. He was an inspector for Tube Turns in Louisville, a Veteran of the United States Army and was of the Catholic Faith. He was a past Commander and lifetime member of the American Legion Dixie Post #220, and was an avid fisherman. He united in marriage to Rose (Neace) Ferriell, who survives. To this union were born two children: Brecca (Kenny) Russell of Louisville and Scott Ferriell of Campbellsville. Also surviving is a grandson: Jonathan Ferriell of Louisville; lifelong friends: Mike and Alice Leon of Louisville.
The funeral service for John Michael Ferriell will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Father Saju Vadakumpadan officiating.
Visitation after 11:30 A.M. Tuesday until time for the service.

Elroy Riggs of Campbellsville, son the late Richard Bryant Riggs and Lucinda Marie White Riggs, was born February 1, 1937 and was proud of being from Finley Ridge, Kentucky. He died at 3:11 P.M., Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church.
Elroy was a retired owner and operator of Green River Wholesale.
He united in marriage to Rachel Reese July 5, 1958.
Besides his wife, Rachel Riggs of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Alan Riggs and wife, Alicia of Greensburg and Vickie McKinley and husband, Mark of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Maggie Brooke Adams and husband, Kevin of Louisville, Kelsey Riggs of St. Petersburg, Florida, Ellie Paine and husband, Davis of Maryville, Tennessee, Rachel Hughes and husband, Sean of Memphis, Tennessee and Peter Riggs of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Claire Coleman and Julian Coleman of St. Petersburg, Florida;
one sister, Elaine Harrison of Shelbyville; several nieces and nephews
and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Orval C. Riggs, Charles A. Riggs, Weldon Ray
Riggs, Donna Victoria Payne and Lou Ann Turner.
