Barbara Jean Gibson of Hodgenville, daughter of the late Eugene Sheridan and Alice Stack Sheridan, was born December 10, 1937 in Spokane, Washington. She died at 10:00 P.M., Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Hodgenville. Age: 79
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.
Barbara worked at Inspiritec in Fort Knox. She was a member of the local bridge club and she cared for her canine companion, Timothy like family.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Jeanne Goodsell of Hodgenville, David Gibson and wife, Krystal of Aurora, Colorado and Thomas Gibson and wife, Brenda of Atkins, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Alex Goodsell and fiancé, Laura Hench of Lexington, Keefe Gibson and Conner Gibson and wife, Samantha of Aurora, Colorado and Kyle Matthews and husband, Ryan of West Virginia; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Dianna Sellin of California; and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. James Wallace Lobb left this world on Monday, November 20, 2017 on his final journey. Born in Greensburg to the late Marvin and Minnie (Davis) Lobb on August 4, 1936, he was 81 years, 3 months, and 16 days of age. Mr. Lobb professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1954 graduate of Green County High School, and a long-time employee and retiree of the Tennessee Gas Company. He united in marriage to Mrs. Nina (Thompson) Larimore, who survives.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Nina Lobb, he is also survived by:
Three children: James Taylor “Jim” Lobb and wife Linda of Louisville, JeNie Altman and husband Gerald of Campbellsville, and Patricia Baldwin of Lexington,
Four grandchildren: Caitlin Jackson and husband Britt of Columbia, Erin Mason and husband Will of Cleveland, Ohio, Daniel Lobb and wife Matilde of Louisville, and Jason Baldwin of Campbellsville,
One sister, Rev. Elizabeth Milby of Summersville and a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nannie Ermine Carroll.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Lobb on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Larry Rhodes will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens Cemetery, 4697 Hodgenville Rd, Greensburg, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 25, from 11:00 AM EST until time for the service.

Mr. Donnie Everett Despain of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset after an extended illness. Born to the late Sherman and Altha (Allen) Despain on May 30, 1950, he was 67 years, 5 months, and 20 days of age. Though he lived a life of many physical hardships, Mr. Despain enjoyed life. He took pleasure in shooting pool and music, and was a talented guitar and banjo player.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
Four siblings: Frances Cooke of Campbellsville, Larry Despain of Campbellsville, Barbara Bell of Lebanon, and Paul Caulk of Campbellsville,
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Brenda Buster, Lerman Despain, and Jimmy Caulk.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Despain on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Nelson-Despain Cemetery, Despain Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, November 24, from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral.
