Vickie Sprowles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Paul Ramsey and Lucille Ramsey Caulk Hunt, was born November 7, 1948 in San Diego, California. She died at 4:52 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 76

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Point Pleasant Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Vickie was a retired employee of Campbellsville University where she worked in the Business Office.

She united in marriage to Eddie Sprowles April 25, 1969.

Besides her husband, Eddie Sprowles of Campbellsville, she is also survived by one daughter, Dana Dudgeon and husband, David of Campbellsville; special nieces and nephews: Heather Thompson and husband, Terry of Hiseville, David Ramsey and wife, Julie of Vermont, Daisy Ramsey of Arkansas, and Daniel Ramsey and wife, Leah of Alabama; and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Ramsey.

Linda Gail Hitch

Linda Gail Hitch of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Kenneth Frank and Margueritte Lou (Phillips) Clark, was born September 27, 1960, in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at her home. She was 64 years of age.

She enjoyed yard sales, collecting, and was an avid Elvis collector.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Hitch in 2016.

Survivors include her children: Christopher Thomas Clark and wife Leticia, and Wendy Dahlquist and husband Jerrit, all of Campbellsville, and Miranda King and husband Wayne of Indiana.

Also ten grandchildren: Drayven Webster, Christopher, Nathaniel, Sophia and Abigail Clark, Kairi, Jackson and Ganon Dahlquist, Aaron and Savannah King, and one brother, Kenneth Allen Clark of Campbellsville, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Linda Gail Hitch will be Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elk Horn Cemetery.

Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until the time for the service.

Vivian Lynn Godby

Vivian Lynn (Brummett) Godby of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late James Brummett and Thelma (Flanagan) Brown, was born September 1, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio and departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 63 years of age.

She was a former secretary and factory worker, and was of the Baptist Faith. She was known to have a green thumb and loved raising flowers and vegetables, especially sunflowers.

Survivors include a son and a daughter: Agustus James “Gus” Gatio and fiance Stephanie Price of Burnside, and Athena Christine Whittaker and husband Donald of Carrollton,

A sister: Anita Burton and husband Bradley of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Hannah, Emery, Briella, and Gavin; three great-grandchildren: Dallas, Remington, and Trace; and her companion: Richard Johnson and his children.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Alyssa Baker; a sister: Sharon Brummett; and three brothers: Robert, Kenneth, and Raymond Brummett.

The funeral service for Vivian Lynn Godby will be Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Nathan Rayburn will be officiating.

There will be a committal service on Sunday, June 8, at 2:30 PM in the Old Paint Lick Cemetery, Manse Rd, Paint Lick, KY.

Family requests visitation on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
