Mr. Jeffrey DeWayne McFarland of Liberty passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home. Born to Frank and Alleen (Shuler) McFarland on August 6, 1975, he was 41 years and 10 months of age. Mr. McFarland professed faith in Christ and was an elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he enjoyed being a primary teacher of children. In his spare time, Mr. McFarland enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
His wife: Martha (Rakes) McFarland of Liberty,
One son: Levi Mason of Liberty,
His father: Frank McFarland of Campbellsville,
His mother: Alleen McFarland of Louisville,
Two brothers: Jeremy McFarland and wife Arelna of Hustonville, and Nathaniel McFarland of Louisville,
Five sisters: Heather Schneider and husband Joe of Virginia, Holly McFarland of Lexington, Natalie Lawrence and husband Josh of LaGrange, Beth McDonald and husband Cody of Campbellsville, and Miranda Kerr of Louisville,
And a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, James and Jimmy Mason.
There wil be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. McFarland on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. President Larry D. Crenshaw will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Whited Cemetery, Hwy 1547, Liberty, Casey County, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 9, after 9:00 AM until time for the service.

Mrs. Ina Ivadean Cox, the daughter of the late Johnny Sim and Rena Mae Pittman, was born on Sunday, Janaury 3, 1926 in Pulaski County, KY and departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Nashville at the Green Hills Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 91 years, 5 months and 2 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker and a former restaurant worker. Her hobbies included playing board games, solitaire and her grandchildren.
She united in marriage to Kenneth O. Cox, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons: Sammy Cox and wife Pam of Campbellsville and Terry Cox of Somerset; two sisters: Betty Stone of Florida and Margie Stephens of Indiana; two brothers: Lloyd Cox and Richard Cox both of Indiana.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Greg (Destiny) Rainwater, Kevin (Krista) Rainwater, Elizabeth Rainwater, Stacey (John Blake) Rainwater, Kristi (Brandy) Rainwater, Tonia Rainwater all of Nashville Eddie Cox of Lexington, Randy (Donna) Cox of Indiana and Joey Cox of Georgia, Melissa (Larry) Willis and Shawn Rainwater both of Campbellsville; 17 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two children: Coy Cox and Glenda Rainwater McKenzie, a brother: Clay Pittman, and two sisters: Audrey Hare and Maerean Barnes.
The funeral service for Mrs. Ivadean Cox, will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 12 Noon on Thursday at the funeral home.

Bobby Walters of Campbellsville, son of the late Jimmy Walters and Mamie Elmore Walters, was born October 21, 1932, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:07 A.M., Monday, June 5, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogard’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Bobby was a retired farmer and was a Kentucky Farm Bureau Board member for thirty-seven years.
He united in marriage to Ermidean Judd December 31, 1960.
Besides his wife, Ermidean Walters of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny & Howard Dobson, Jr. of Campbellsville; two granddaughters: Jennifer Johnson and husband, Alex and Jessica Lile and husband, Brent of Campbellsville; one great-daughter, Brooklyn Claire Johnson of Campbellsville and two unborn great-grandchildren: Owen Lile and Baby Johnson; a sister, Rosa Mae Taylor of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ralph Walters and Clem Thomas Walters in infancy.
