Mr. Stanley Coy Tungate, age 71, of Lebanon, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Sylvester and Helen (Garrett) Tungate, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Springview Hospital after an illness. Mr. Tungate was a former employee of McCubbin Ford and Newcomb Buick for several years. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a son, Stanley Coy Tungate, Jr. and wife Jeannie of Ohio; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, and Jordan Tungate; a brother, Eric Tungate and wife Phyllis of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by five siblings: Barry Tungate, Russell Tungate, Rosetta Lewis, Zelda Bottoms, and Cindy Webb.
At the request of Mr. Tungate, cremation rites were entrusted to the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. There will be a graveside interment service in the Brookside Cemetery on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM.

Donald Ray “Donnie” Lawson, age 66, of Campbellsville died on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home after an illness.
Donnie was born in Campbellsville on September 7, 1950, the son of the late William Thomas “Bud” and Edith Mae Walters Lawson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Lawson. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam and after an honorable discharge, he worked for Coco-Cola Bottling Company as a route deliveryman until his retirement. In his spare time, you would find him, coaching Little League, fishing or enjoying sports, especially NASCAR.
He married Erlene DeWitt who survives. To this union was born one son, Brad Lawson and his wife Misty, and their two daughters, Brooke and Baileigh Lawson of Mayfield, KY. Also surviving are his brothers, William “Buster” Lawson and his wife Linda of Lebanon Junction, Steve Lawson and his wife Lesa, a sister, Vicki Young and her husband Danny, and a sister-in-law Cathy Lawson, all of Campbellsville.
There will be a graveside service with full military honors by the Marion County Retired Veterans Honor Guard at Lebanon National Cemetery for Donnie Lawson at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. The family request visitation prior to the service at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Donations are requested to be to the Marion County Retired Veterans Honor Guard and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Louis H. Shipp of Campbellsville, son of the late Odgen Shipp and Ruby L. Young Carter, was born May 4, 1930, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:02 P.M., Friday, June 23, 2017, in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Korean Service Ribbon with Four Stars.
Louis retired from TGT after more than thirty-seven years’ service.
He was a member of the Pitman Mason Lodge #124 F & AM.
He united in marriage to Peggy Noel and she preceded him in death November 18, 2001.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jim Bailey of Lexington; one grandson, Dusty Bailey and wife, Melissa of Lexington; two great-grandchildren: Emerson Bailey and Riley Bailey of Lexington; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dr. Harold Wilkerson of Campbellsville; two aunts: Virginia Smith of Campbellsville and Jean Dyer of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Shipp May 5, 1965.
