W. R. Robison of Campbellsville, son of the late Everett Robison and Rosa Eastridge Robison, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, September 25, 1951. He died at 6:15 P.M., Friday, February 10, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 65
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of Cox Interior and Sherwin Williams.
W. R. was an avid hunter and fisherman; he also enjoyed his time spent coaching little league baseball.
He united in marriage to Kaye Parker March 13, 1971.
Besides his wife, Kaye Robison, he is survived by a son, Michael Robison and wife, Jamie of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Landon Robison and Riley Robison; two brothers and two sisters: Dallard Robison and M. C. Robison of Louisville, Rita Keltner of Campbellsville and Garnettia Knifley of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Alvin Junior Robison, Ivan Haskel Robison, Wigg Robison, Chester Robison and Flora Ester Robison.

Tristan Grant Pyles of Louisville, son of David Pyles and Elisa Carter Pyles, was born February 5, 1989, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died February 9, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 28
Grant loved helping people and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a big man with a big heart and he loved everyone.
Besides his parents, David Pyles of Raywick and Elisa Pyles of Lexington, he is survived by his stepmother, Lisa Pyles of Shelbyville; one sister, Lacee Pyles of Louisville; his grandfather, Preston Pyles of Campbellsville; one aunt and two uncles: Teresa Tedder of Springfield, David Carter and wife, Gina of Lebanon and Dean Pyles of Louisville; several cousins and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Pyles and his maternal grandparents, Gene and Margaret Carter.

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Newton of Campbellsville was born in Marion County, Kentucky on June 22, 1938 to the late Jesse and Lillian (Gribbins) Smothers. She departed this life on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 15 days. She was married to Lonzie Gerald Newton, who preceded her in death on October 12, 2016. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after many years of service. Mrs. Newton enjoyed sewing and made several quilts throughout her life. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
One daughter: Cathy Wilson of Campbellsville,
One son: Dewayne Wilson and companion Terry Lile of Campbellsville,
Two step-children: Mary Smith and husband Scotty, and Jerry Newton, all of Louisville,
One brother and two sisters: Nancy Lemmon of Nancy, KY, Geneva Person of Green County, and Jesse Smothers and wife Dianne of Campbellsville,
Two grandchildren: Jessica Loveland and husband Calvin of Campbellsville, and Malissa Clemons and husband Nathan of Russellville,
Two step-grandchildren: Brandon Smith and Meagan Smith, both of Louisville,
A great-granddaughter: Chloe Clemons of Russellville,
Five step-great grandchildren: Hunter Smith of Louisville, Kayla Loveland of Bloomfield, Jamie Loveland of Campbellsville, Jakob Loveland of Campbellsville, and Dylan Loveland of Springfield,
And a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Smothers.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Newton on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro Dannie Nelson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 7, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.
