Margie Walls Blakeman of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leonard Walls and Mattie Alma Miller Walls, was born November 16, 1933 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 1:50 P. M., Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Campbellsville.
Age: 84
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Margie was a loving wife and truly cared for her family which she adored.
She united in marriage to William Olin Blakeman December 24, 1955 and he preceded her in death April 13, 2015.
She is survived by two sons: David Blakeman and wife, Jill and Danny Blakeman and wife, Teena of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Stephanie Clenney and husband, Ryan, Matti Blakeman and Corey Blakeman of Campbellsville; two step granddaughters: Paige Hord and husband, Shaun of Campbellsville and Mendi Booton and husband, Heath of Wilder; two great-grandchildren: Jovi Kate Clenney and Dakota Clenney; three step great-grandchildren: Lane Hord, Thomas Hord and Jacob Clenney; one sister, Wanda Perkins and husband, Ray of Naples, Florida; special friend, Betty Jewell Hinton of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.

Betty Stearman of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alva Allen Thrasher and Lena Valda Sallee Thrasher, was born August 4, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
Betty was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She loved cooking and working in her garden and she never let her sons run out of her delicious homemade biscuits which she always kept in the freezer. She was known to her grandchildren as the “best Grandma ever”.
She united in marriage to Hershel Stearman January 19, 1947 and he preceded her in death December 18, 2005.
She is survived by two sons: Wayne Stearman and wife, Louise of Campbellsville and Barry Stearman and wife, Deborah of Warrenton, Virginia; four grandchildren: Jason Stearman and Trina Davis of Campbellsville, Kelli MacDonald and husband, Temple and Tori Stearman of Warrenton, Virginia; eight great-grandchildren: Austin Stearman, McKenna Stearman, Dylan Davis, Chelsea Davis, Austin Davis, Tristan Stearman, Ariel MacDonald and Henry MacDonald; three great-great-grandchildren: Khloe Davis, Kameron Davis and Kaydn Davis and an expected great-great-grandchild; one brother and one sister: Tom Mardis and Bernice Bowen of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allen Stearman and two brothers: Bill Thrasher and Charles Thrasher and a sister in infancy.

Jean was a retired bookkeeper for Ashland Petroleum in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Woody Newton February 4, 1950 and he preceded her in death March 14, 2009.
She is survived by her relatives: Barbara Warren Dobson and husband, Lewis of Campbellsville, JoAnn McCrary and husband, John of Bullitt County, Damon Newton and Jim Newton and wife, Sonnie of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Stephen Jeffrey Louallen, 67

Mr. Stephen Jeffrey Louallen of Campbellsville was born on July 18, 1951 to Ann Marie (Hollingsworth) and the late Miller C. “Lou” Louallen. He departed this life on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville after a short illness, being 67 years and 29 days of age. Mr. Louallen had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired truck driver and horse farm manager, and loved spending time laughing with his friends and family. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

His mother and stepfather: Ann Marie and Tony Voltaw of Lexington,

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Louallen.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Louallen on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Darrell Ford will be officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
George was a retired manager with the Green River Lake and U. S. Corps of Engineers.
He united in marriage to Deborah Wilson February 21, 1985.
Besides his wife, Deborah Williams of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Holly Ann Nesbitt of Bowling Green and Jennifer Camille Thurmond; six grandchildren; one sister, Janetta Holeman of Sevierville, Tennessee; his mother-in-law, Mary P. Wilson of Campbellsville and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Michael Lee “Shaky Mike” Wright, of Campbellsville, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 . Born on April 21, 1961 in New Albany, Indiana, he was 57 years, 3 months, and 22 days of age. As a young man, he made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He worked many years in the construction industry, and was a licensed Electrical Contractor. Shaky’s laidback and easygoing, though sometimes gruff, manner of talk only hinted at his true inner self – an independent, hardworking man with a heart of gold that shared all he had with those around him. His infectious laughter when recalling a simple joke or prank filled many a job or campsite, and he had a knack for telling the best stories at the most (in)appropriate time. His simple yet loyal friendship will be forever cherished.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Mr. Ronald Lee “Ron” Clark of Campbellsville was born on March 29, 1948 to the late Leslie T. and Elizabeth (Ormerod) Clark. He departed this life on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his home after an extended battle with cancer. He was 70 years, 4 months, and 13 days of age. Mr. Clark had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a fun-loving, energetic, and hardworking man, and earned his living as a longhaul semi driver. Mr. Clark often competed in rodeos as a team roper, and he loved his animals. The cowboy code of loyalty, honor, and sacrifice served him well throughout his life.

Born on February 3, 1964 in Georgetown, South Carolina, he was 54 years, 6 months, and 8 days of age. Mr. Dease had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Separate Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Trinity Gospelaires, a locally renowned singing group.
