#65279;Charles Wiley Greer 54Mr. Charles Wiley Greer, age 54, of Robinson Ridge Road, Knifley, died Saturday,May 31, 2003, at his residence after an illness.He is the son of Charles Wesley Greer of Knifley and the late Frances Thompson Greer. He was an employee of the Campbellsville University Maintenance Department.Besides his father he is survived by his wife, Brenda Tucker Greer, two sons and their spouses, Charles W. and Sandi Greer and Jeff and Hannah Greer all of Knifley. Threegrandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda and Samantha Greer also survive along with six brothers and four sisters, Dwight, Bill, Darrell, and Phillip Greer all of Knifley, Ivan Greer ofGlensfork and Stewart Greer of Elkhorn, Euonia Mardis, Vanessa Flinchum and Tammy Houk all of Campbellsville and Debra Kimbler of Tennessee. Several other relatives also survive along with a host of friends.Funeral services for Mr. Charles Wiley Greer were held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Robinson RidgeCemetery.Brother Raymond Atwood and Brother Boyce Houk officiated.

The Rev. William Marion Rountree, 82, of Bowling Green died at 2:20 p.m. May 26, 2003, at The Medical Center. The Edmonson County native was a World War II Army veteran, serving three years in the South Pacific with the 32nd infantry division, received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, was a United Methodist minister for 32 years, serving churches in Adair, Taylor, Jefferson, Barren, Edmonson and Warren counties, was a 60-year Mason, a 50-year member of the Grand Chapter of The Kentucky Royal Arch Mason, served as president of Caveland and Glasgow-Barren County Ministerial Association and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a son of the late Virgil Rountree and Ethel Luttrell Rountree. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph C. Rountree. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial at 2:30 p.m. EST Thursday at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jones Rountree; a son, William Donald Rountree of Louisville; a daughter, Angela Angie Irvin of Bowling Green; a brother, Charles D. Rountree of Louisville; a sister, Lottie Dossey of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Rountree of Louisville; four granddaughters, Heather Rountree of Louisville, Erica Higginbotham of Lexington, Sarah Irvin of Bowling Green and Allison Campbell of Columbia; five grandsons, Scott, Brandon and Michael Rountree, all of Louisville, Christopher Rountree of New Albany, Ind., and Wesley Irvin of Columbia; four great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.

Helena N. Brewer of Page Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Robert Newcomb and Minnie Miskell Newcomb was born January 7, 1922, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2003, in Campbellsville. Virginia Gadberry Read of Old Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Arlin Gadberry and Ada Robertson Gadberry was born December 4, 1934, in Russell County, Kentucky. She died at 11:32 A.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2003, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. Age: 68She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hiram Chapter #93 and was a Kentucky Colonel.She united in marriage to Archie Read August 14, 1971. He preceded her in death November 30, 1998.She is survived by two sons and two daughters: George Russell of Lexington, Richard Russell and Patti Reynolds of Campbellsville, and Lana Kessler of Greensburg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother: Larry Gadberry of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: J. D. Gadberry and Judi Gadberry Clark.She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Southwood, age 79, of Carden Street, Campbellsville, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at the Greenhill Manor Nursing Home after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Gunter and Virgie Tucker Gunter of Taylor County. She was a member of the Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Campbellsville and aretired grocery store employee and homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son, Sylvester Garrett, one daughter, Faye Kennedy, a daughter in infancy, one grandchild, two brothers, Alvis Gunter and Willie Gunter and one sister Mary Lee Gunter.Miss Southwood is survived by one son, Harvey Garrett, and two daughters, Laverne Wise and Rhonda Nunn all of Campbellsville. Twenty-one grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive along with two sisters, Suzie Gunter of Campbellsville and Christine Smitters of Indianapolis, Indiana. David Keith Cox of Churchill Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Huston Cox and Beechal Tungate Cox was born May 25, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 65He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mannsville Separate Baptist Church.He was a former employee at General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky where he worked for thirty-two years.He united in marriage to Marcella Gabehart on May 12, 1958 who survives.
