Linda Sue Reece of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Ollie (Neeley) Ooten, was born October 12, 1951 in London, KY and departed this life on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her residence. She was 70 years of age.
She united in marriage to Calvin Reece, who preceded her in death.
She was a nurse and she enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time for family.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son: Rick Bennett and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children: James Bennett, Amanda Reece and Joshua Reece all of Campbellsville, Mike Bennett and Lisa Stamper both of Owensboro and Ben Reece and wife Jennifer of Taylorsville; twenty grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family entrusted L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation rites.

Jewell Dean Sullivan Jones, 85, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Stanley Sullivan and Myrtle Bookout Sullivan, was born July 10th, 1937, in Taylor County and departed this life on Thursday, July 28th, 2022, at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God. Jewell was very well known in Campbellsville as an employee of Kroger on Broadway for approximately 10 years. Her pleasant personality, bright smile, and the passion she had for her job brought joy to anyone around her. She worked at Fruit of the Loom for 40 plus years. Jewell loved spending time in the kitchen, watching cooking shows and using her skill to cook for her family. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dog “Ginger.” She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.
Jewell united in marriage to the love of her life at the age of 18 to Lloyd Harold Jones, who precedes her in death on January 1st, 2011.
Jewell is survived by:
Two granddaughters: Brittany Nichole Jones and her fiancé, Chance Bishop of Campbellsville, and Shauna Rae Jones of Bowling Green.
One brother: Bobby Sullivan and his wife, Beverly of Campbellsville.
Two sisters-in-law: Loretta Sullivan of Campbellsville and Geneva Jones of Campbellsville.
Two brothers-in-law: Tim Jones and his wife, Kellie of Campbellsville and Charlie Jones and his wife, Cheryl of Salem, Ohio.
Two great nieces: Taliyah Hazelwood and Kaia Sullivan both of Campbellsville.
Two special family friends: April Bowen and Joey Sprowles.
Along with many other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and her husband, Jewell Dean is preceded in death by:
One son: Mark Anthony Jones on February 13th, 2014.
Three brothers: Murrell Sullivan, Rodney Sullivan, and Mac Ronald Sullivan.
Four sisters: Maxine Sullivan, Pearl Lyvers, Sylvia Merrill, and Roselean Sullivan Jones
VISITATION: Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, from 10am – 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, at 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
Burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.

Edna R. Nelson Kilby, a long-time resident of Campbellsville, formerly of the Saloma Community, daughter of the late Jethro Glenn and Ida Bell Bacon Glenn, was born September 7, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She passed away at 6:05 P.M., Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in Greensburg at the age of 89.
She professed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and at the time of her death, was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church of Campbellsville and a long-time member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Edna was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and an avid fisherman, having held the family record for the largest bass caught at the time of her death.
She united in marriage to Omer Lee Nelson, who passed away May 26, 1972. She later married Paul Franklin, and after his passing, she united in marriage to Claude Kilby, who also preceded her in death.
Edna is survived by two sons: Jimmie Lee Nelson, Sr. and wife, Wanda and Henry Allen “Hank” Nelson of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Waymon Nelson of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jimmie “Bo” Nelson, Jr. and Jessica Nelson Hedgespeth and husband, Bobby of Campbellsville and Kevin Patrick Nelson of Bowling Green; great-grandchildren: Nathan Nelson, Sierra Nelson and Chase Hedgespeth and several other great-grandchildren; two sisters: Laura Bell Lawson and Henrietta Oakes Anderson and husband, Ted of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by two sons: Leroy Lynn Nelson and Frankie Lane Nelson; a daughter in infancy, Patricia Nelson; one grandson, John Daniel Nelson and one brother and two sisters: Thomas Glenn, Dorothy Spurling Meredith and Stella Clark Martin.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Green Hill Manor for the excellent care they provided and also to the staff of the Elegant Touch for their kind consideration and service.
